The Bestway® 1,500 gal. Flowclear™ Filter Pump is a great way for pool owners to keep their pool water sparkling clean over the summer months. This pump works its magic by circulating water out of the pool, through a filter and back again. The pump also features an energy-saving plug, which allows you to set a time for how long you would like your pump to run. The timer will allow the pump to run for up to 10 hours, so you can customize it to work with your schedule. With everything you need to keep your pool water pristine, this Flowclear pump kit is a must-have! The 1,500 gal. Flowclear Filter Pump is recommended for use with 300-8,400 gal. pools and works perfectly with Type III-A/C filter cartridges. Put the fun in functional with the Bestway 1,500 gal. I was very skeptical about purchasing this pump after reading reviews that stated the lid leaked etc.The lid doesn't leak. My pump was pulling in air from the connection on the pool. My unit came with the extra attachments and they fix perfectly. I had them to snug and caused a small space large enough for the air to be pulled into the filter, so if you have that problem check connections its not the pump. The pump that came with my 15x32 pool was not moving the water like I wanted and it seemed like I was spending more in maintenance than swimming. If you want a pump that will move the water this is the pump for you, it does make some noise but its not bad. I waited to write the review because i wanted to make sure this pump wasn't a dud. I put shock in the pool and it moved everything for me, before I was having to actually stir the water to get the shock to circulate and now that's not a problem. I'm spending less on maintenance and more time swimming because this pump moves the water like it should be. I'm happy I spent the extra few dollars it will pay for it self. ... show more

In my opinion this product is not worth the money. Purchased it in mid April they give you one month to make sure it’s going to work properly. Now July 1st Can’t return and it no longer comes on won’t work. No good reason why. $300 wasted for two months. Just trying to get the pool ready for summer.     • Bad switch only worked for 4 or 5 months. When it got wet it didn't work

This thing only lasted about 4 months and then the switch or something went out. If the switch gets wet or the pump gets wet from splashes or anything, nothing works. It just doesn't function, and we use our pool year around but it did rain one day and I ended up having to take the off on switch apart and dry it out,? And I kept it in a dry spot but the humidity once again made it fail ... show more

MY husband was 'concerned' when he opened the box and looked at this pump. Hoses and a pump and filters and hoses - OH MY! Then he took the hoses out in the sun to warm them a bit, they straightened nicely. He read the instructions, thought about it and maybe 30 minutes later, everything was replaced, our NEW filter was running wonderfully and the pool was back in business. LOVE IT! Tried to find my previous negative review but I either didn't hit Submit or it was deleted. Original Post: Purchased the Bestway pump in August and within 2 months it was dead! My husband & I tried everything possible to troubleshoot and nothing worked. I contacted the seller and received no response. We were beyond pissed at how much money we spent on this pump for it to crap out within 2 months! UPDATED POST: Found the inserts that came with the pump and noticed it had a 12 month warranty. I contacted Bestway, on their US web site, completed a Warranty Claim and received a new pump less than a week later. NEED TO KNOW: Every purchase I make on Amazon for something large, I usually try to make sure it's direct from the manufacturer. I thought it was just the blue link basically saying "Visit Bestway store". I WAS VERY WRONG on this one! When I got my response from Bestway they said the item was purchased through a 3rd party seller, Brands on Sale. I checked my invoice and there it was. Since it was their product they were honoring the Warranty anyway. When I went back to the product it took a while to find it, but after scrolling I found that the item was being sold by another company. All I can say is do yourself a favor and just go to the Bestway US website and put in a Warranty Claim. They will honor their warranty and give you a new product! ... show more

    • Good Alternative to Intex pump

This is our third year with an 18 ft easy set Intex pool. The old Intex pump quit working a month ago so I bought this one. It is quite a bit cheaper, but it doesn't have an on-off switch or a timer. You need to use the breaker switch at the end of the plug to turn it on and off, but that's ok. What I like about it is the ease of removing the filter. The filter cap screws on much more easily that the one on the Intex pump. I've been using this new pump for over a month and it works fine. ... show more
