Here are the interior dimensions from the bottom, of the large box no tray, L = 12 1/4" H = 8" W = 6 1/8", There is a little additional room for stuff to stick up above the rim, inside, below the handle area, L = 13 1/8" H = 1/2" W = 5" I am using it to store my fish finder, 24 amp hour battery, and transducer on and off the boat. I have an Elite 4, a bigger one would fit also. The clamping closure has a good firm feel. Plastic is of a good thickness; very sturdy. I bought it to put a small LiFePO4 battery back in it and it looks like it should be sufficiently waterproof.

Product as described. Lid closes snuggly and securely and is perfect for ammo storage. It’s very sturdy and the rubber seal works great. The product arrived in pristine condition. No issues and I’d buy again. I have to say, reading some of the negative reviews you quickly realize that a small percentage of people are insane. Not sure if they are just knocking the product because they have a vested interest in another brand or if they are simply mentally challenged (tools rusted in a week comment had me shaking my head, I guess the person forgot to mention that they submerged it in the Atlantic Ocean) In any event, I just want great products at a fair price and this is one of them. And a huge thank you to all those that give honest and sane reviews. For the others....get a hobby. ... show more

Oh c'mon people! If you want the box with a tray you have to order the "Large with a tray" option! Read the description before you write a bad review. I opted for the small version. No tray! It's exactly what it's supposed to be. I can fit 20 boxes of 20 round 556 or a combo of some 22. The latch works fine and it seems to seal. I can't speak to the rust stopping properties as I dont store ammo that long now that it's finally available. Overall it's a good little ammo box and the price was way cheaper than my local stores. I already have another one on its way! ... show more

I use this ammo box to store my desiccant packs. When the old packs get saturated, I bake them in the oven and store them in this ammo box. It keeps them moisture free until I'm ready to use them.

The dimensions are the same as the older version. They probably used the same molds, but the plastic feels way cheap and the latch isn't as nice and smooth as the older one. The older one is still available for $9.99. As a matter of fact, I'm going to buy an older one right now to replace the Rustrictor. ... show more
