Fantastic shade. Honestly considering purchasing another one for the opposite half of the pool for dual shading. It works very well - better than expected. The shade it provides keeps that part of the pool cool. And it's large enough to cover a good area. It has withstood monsoon winds and other weather as long as the mesh window is open for airflow. It is very sturdy. Fantastic value for the cost. Wasn't the most fun to set up, and it was a bit of a pain to take down (for pool maintenance), but otherwise I can't really complain about that. I put this canopy on a 14 ft pool and it fits great. Easy to put together and install. It has a screened tent window you can open or leave closed. It has two strings you can use to tie it down to the opposite side of the pool to keep the wind from grabbing it. However, if the wind comes from behind the canopy it will collapse into the pool. I came home from work a few days ago after a windy day and it was in the pool. Easy enough to take off the pool for it to dry out and then put back on. Do not buy if you live in an area that has even mild wind. Had it up for about 5 days then one mildly windy day went outside and it had snapped off 2 of the poles and was no longer usable. Wind that day didn't get above 5mph. Cheap quality poles with plastic holders. Save your money and buy something else that stronger and more durable. ... show more

It was great while it lasted during hot sunny days; but unfortunately, we only enjoyed it for exactly 3 months. Flimsy fabric got dry rotted and ripped into shreds when touched. It literally fell apart. But cheap enough so we threw out and will buy another next summer.

The canopy lasted all summer and I will be putting it up again next summer. It didn't really provide a ton of shade, but it did provide a lot of privacy. The neighbors on one side can be a little nosy and putting this up blocked the entire inside of the pool from their view. The canopy does collapse into the pool on windy days and it takes a bit of muscle to make it pop back up but it always does. It would be nice if it could fold down. ... show more

This worked wonderfully on my Coleman pool. It was easy to set up and with the tie downs it held up in Texas winds. This is my second summer using it and it is still going strong. Great price for shade!

Bought this sun shade for my 18 foot above ground pool. Took a little work to attach it but once we figured out how to secure the tethers with weights it’s worked great. Now it stays on even in windy conditions. Maybe add instructions to weigh down the strings.

When this shade stays up with no wind its excellent and does the job but the slightest bit of wind comes and the whole thing is sinking in the pool. Not my favorite item. Wish it was stronger and not so flimsy and difficult to take on and off.
