Fantastic shade. Honestly considering purchasing another one for the opposite half of the pool for dual shading. It works very well - better than expected. The shade it provides keeps that part of the pool cool. And it's large enough to cover a good area. It has withstood monsoon winds and other weather as long as the mesh window is open for airflow. It is very sturdy. Fantastic value for the cost. Wasn't the most fun to set up, and it was a bit of a pain to take down (for pool maintenance), but otherwise I can't really complain about that. Great while it lasted! I did ziptie tie it to my pool frame so we had no issue with wind or storms. Decently simple setup. Great size and for for 12 circular pool. Good shade and privacy in our yard, BUTTTTT durable for a single season ONLY. Loved it while it lasted but when we went to take it down the material had degraded to the point of shredding everywhere with no possibility of repair. I now see it’s not available or it’s listed for over 100$, not worth that much. ... show more

I put this canopy on a 14 ft pool and it fits great. Easy to put together and install. It has a screened tent window you can open or leave closed. It has two strings you can use to tie it down to the opposite side of the pool to keep the wind from grabbing it. However, if the wind comes from behind the canopy it will collapse into the pool. I came home from work a few days ago after a windy day and it was in the pool. Easy enough to take off the pool for it to dry out and then put back on. Once you get the hang of it, it does its job. It does look flimsy so you have to be mindful of the weather. when I see we’re getting some strong wind or thunderstorms, I loosen it up and drop it into the water. I set it up by myself so it is doable. You just need to find a sweet spot for the straps. Start with the outer ends and it’s ok if it dips into the water as You’re strapping but don’t tighten yet. Once all strapped, you slowly lift it out of the water until arched and start tightening straps. I didn’t anchor it to the ground as seen in the pictures I just spun it into the polls and it still works to hold it from going forward. Those other people complaining that it won’t stay up is because they haven’t figured it out. ... show more

This worked wonderfully on my Coleman pool. It was easy to set up and with the tie downs it held up in Texas winds. This is my second summer using it and it is still going strong. Great price for shade!

Update: So this canopy has been installed for just a couple of months and already it is broken. The tent pole has broke in half AND the fabric the pole goes thru has tore out. This is not worth the money I spent for it. See last picture.. Not sure I like this. The canopy is hard to install onto the pool. The buckles are difficult to attach to the pool frame. These need to be of a different type, like the kind that snaps together for a quick install and removal. The canopy keeps falling into the pool. It will not stand up on its own with any breeze blowing. It comes with two anchor tethers however, they suggest staking these to the ground. Not a good idea. This creates a trip hazard and not easy to cut grass or weed eat around. The canopy concept is a good idea, it just needs some re-engineering. ... show more

very nice sturdy canopy hooks up easy very tall and well-built for the price. also make a nice shade area if you don't want to bake in the sun as well as privacy. came neat and clean in the package and on time.
