I'm a first time pool owner, so a lot of pool related stuff is new to me. I expected this pool cover to fit, but it was a struggle and a half. I own a basic 12ft metal frame pool, so this cover should have been a breeze to put on. It was not. It took 2 people over an HOUR just to get it around the pool. One person had to stand on one side, while the other person stood on the other side, holding the cover in place because if one of us moved, it slipped right off into the water. After we FINALLY got it to where it wasn't slipping off on its own, we tried to tighten the cord..........that was another hassle in itself because the piece that's supposed to hold the cords tight, is junk, and the cover slipped as soon as I pulled the cords. We ended up having to have one person hold the cover in place, on on side, while the other tried to tighten the cords. It took us about 2 hours, total, to get the cover on, get it to STAY on, and get the cords tightened. It's technically on the pool, but it DEFINITELY isn't going to last through the rest of the summer. Look elsewhere because this thing is NOT worth the $ or the hassle. 🙄 ... show more

This was by no means the best pool cover. It does have wholes in it so bugs leaves and whatnot may still get into your pool as the holes on this pool cover are quite big. The cover it's self when in the hot air and sun does get hot but the pool will stay cool. Durability is okay like to said it already has holes and it's thin so it might rip overtime. ... show more
