I’ve been into pools since 1999, so I know a thing or two—and I have to say, this Bestway Steel Pro MAX 12' x 30" Above Ground Pool is a solid 10/10. The setup was super easy. With two people, it took about 45 minutes from start to finish, and everything went together smoothly with clear instructions. The size is perfect for families or just cooling off on hot days, and the frame feels sturdy and well-made. The depth is just right at around 26.5 inches of water—great for kids and adults alike. Now, the one thing to note: the pump that comes with it isn’t strong enough. If you're just dipping your toes into pool ownership, it might do for the short term, but I definitely recommend upgrading to a more powerful pump for better water circulation and filtration. As someone who’s been around pools for decades, I can confidently say a stronger pump will make a world of difference in keeping the water clean and clear. Overall, awesome pool for the price, easy setup, and a summer must-have—just plan to invest in a better pump!

I love this swimming pool. I have RLS, and kicking around in the water really helps. Plus, I've always loved swimming but will never be able to afford an inground pool. So I bought this pool for me. I'm 59 years old and it took me less than an hour to set it up. It's a nice way to cool down in the Florida heat. I like that the frame is made up of a very durable plastic. My old pool had a metal frame and it rusted after 2 years. The plastic frame will last much longer. I know that many people will buy this pool for their kids, but I gotta say, it's the perfect size for adults too. In fact, I'm the only one using it. The water is deep enough to kick around in it, and it's super relaxing just floating around on an air mattress. It's big enough, but not too big, so it's easy to keep clean. My one issue is the pump. After just one day, we noticed that it's leaking. The pool is great, but the pump is not. At any rate, the pool is worth the money. I love it.

I have to agree with all the other comments, this is overall a great pool! Easy set up, perfect size especially for small backyards. My one complaint is the pump size. You can tell it is too small for the size of the pool because of the sounds it makes. I’m going to upgrade to a larger pump and hope for a cleaner pool.

I purchased this pool. This will be the second one. We cannot wait to install it, easy to install the pump functions really well it’s got a quality build. It’s very sturdy. We bought this size to float and enjoy the summer sun. It’s 30 inches deep. it’s a very good quality Functions very well, I actually bought the pool mat to go underneath it and we plan to leave it up here around this year. We are going to build a permanent deck around it. I can’t wait to float this summer, my husband and I are teachers, and we look forward to relaxing at home this summer. , This is for us as adults the kids try to also use it, but we are normally in it most the time, it has a very good quality of material and the money value because I’m not having to take the kids places to swim This is for kids and adults. The pool material is very thick and durable.

The media could not be loaded. SETUP: I set this pool up by myself and it took me 2 hours. If you have help, 2 people can get this done in 30min for sure. Instructions were easy and no actual tools were needed. The liner seams to be good quality, it’s thick. FILLING UP: A standard garden hose filled this 12x30 pool in 4 hours. No leakage anywhere so that’s good. FILTER: The pool included a small filter pump that’s 330gph but I purchased a bigger filter pump that’s 1000gph. Is it overkill? Not sure but I know my pool will stay clean. OVERALL: I recommend this pool for the summer and could honestly last year round in Florida. It’s bigger than I thought it was and it’s perfect. It will definitely keep our family cool during these hot days. If you’re thinking about, just get it. You won’t regret it.
