I couldn’t be more pleased with this umbrella. I assembled it with three clicks, and now my humble urban balcony is a delightful tiki jungle resort. The umbrella is incredibly sturdy (I didn’t buy a stand for it, btw; I just stuck it through the hole in my patio table into a planter pot) and looks just as good as, if not better than, umbrellas folks pay hundreds for. The color (I got the burgundy) is bold and true to the photo. And the solar lights are long-lasting and impressively bright. Super easy and sturdy crank. Durable velcro closure with just one wrap-around. And the stand TILTS! Props, also, to the reviewer here who noted that the solar mechanism is packed in the bottom of the box. That probably saved me a good 10 minutes of puzzling. Absolutely 1000000% recommend this product. It’s not just good for the price—it’s worth every penny I paid and more. ... show more

I wish I could give this product 4.5 stars (or even 5 stars if it would get as much attention for the slight detractors it has) because it really is a great product and great value for the price. The 7.5' umbrella is a great size on our smaller size patio and the green color is lovely and feels true to what we saw in the pictures. The angle feature works easily and feels sturdy as it latches into place when straight upright or tilted in either direction. We haven't had much wind in our area since having it so I don't know about how well it stands up to that yet. We're very picky about the tone of light in our home (prefer warm light to white light) and were concerned about the LED lights being too blue, but they turned out to be perfect. They illuminate everything in a soft and even blue glow that feels more like moon or starlight than your typical bright and harsh LED blue light. Pictures attached for brightness reference. The crank function to open and close the umbrella works well but is the only reason I did detract 1 star. When opening the umbrella, the rope which moves the umbrella support catches slightly on the button which tilts the umbrella. Only a slight annoyance and easily fixed once we figured it out. When closing the umbrella though, the rope seems to have been coiling back on itself (inside of the umbrella shaft) if we don't help to move the support down by hand as we continue to crank the umbrella down. Again, only a slight annoyance once we figured it out but it stands worth mentioning for anyone shopping for a new umbrella (and hopefully save some confusion and having to figure it out on your own for anyone who does choose this umbrella). It would also be nice if it came with a cover for storage, but I'm sure we can find something that will fit/work for it. I would definitely recommend this product and would buy it again! ... show more

I define recommend this item! I searched through so many different umbrellas and reviews and then I settled on this one. I will say I am very happy that I did! It’s awesome value for the money! The color is vibrant and gorgeous. The canvas is thick enough that you can not see through it and would repel some rain! The led lights are bright white and just bright enough that you can enjoy your dinner and a nice evening/night on the deck but still having a nice evening vibe!! It tilts easily! And goes up and down easily as well! I live in coastal NC lots of sun heat and wind! I saw some other ppl state about it fading! I Just Bought an outdoor furniture protection spray it’s 9$ on amazon and make suv and water resistant! Also a tip: I have mine in a medium flower pot as a base filled with sand! I repurposed instead of buying a base! I also saw some reviews about wind damage, this item is pretty sturdy especially for its price! So as long as you put it down when not using, you will never risk the umbrella breaking in the wind or flying away… ANY UMBRELLA CAN BREAK IN THE WIND! just have to take care of it!! ;-) ... show more

This is terrific so far!! Much higher quality than anticipated for the price (which was the lowest on Amazon for a lighted umbrella when I purchased). The lights are small and seem a bit underpowered until you see them in full dark, at which point you realize they cast plenty of light on the table below; I'd personally prefer warm white to the stark white (which has a slightly blue cast), but that's not a fault, just a preference. Having them built in is great, and no problem setting up the solar panel (you just click it on to the connection when you assemble the two parts of the pole). Only time will tell how well it holds up, but so far we are super happy with it! ... show more

Most of the other solar lit umbrellas were 9-10 feet in diameter, which was way too big for our small deck. This 7.5 foot umbrella is the ideal size! The positives: this umbrella is incredibly easy to put together. It’s literally 3 steps: 1. Connect the wires of the solar panel to the top of the umbrella 2. Sit the solar panel into the plastic holder and twist until it locks into place 3. Screw the bottom portion of the pole on Voila - you have an umbrella! Ours arrived with the lights already charged up, so I could immediately verify that all components were there and functioning. The lights seem very dim in daylight, but we found them to provide the perfect amount of light for nighttime al fresco dining. The negatives: this umbrella does not come with a stand. Unless you are putting it in a table with an umbrella hole you will need to buy a stand separately. This umbrella was exactly what I was looking for, works perfectly, and provides great ambiance on our deck. I recommend this product. ... show more
