I’ve purchased three of the Bella air fryer. One for work, home and one for my mother. Since purchasing the air fryer I rarely turn on the oven to cook anything. We love ours and wanted to gift one to our parents that would be easy to manage (they are in their 70’s) and wasn’t imposing (kitchen space being limited). They love it! There are only two dials to deal with and the removable basket makes cleanup a breeze. My mother had been wanting one for a while but was intimidated by them… she is now whipping up all sorts of meals (and my father who is health conscious enjoys the oil free idea). I’ve had this same model for over 2 years and it’s been a good, dependable air fryer. Easy to use and clean. The screw on the handle fell off, but it was easy to replace. My mother liked it so much she asked for the same one, instead of a pricier/fancier one for her birthday.

First, let me say I am a senior, and live alone. I kept hearing about "air fryers". They were way too expensive for me, and most were huge for my needs. At Christmas, my oldest son gave me an Amazon gift card. I was curious and looked into air fryers. When I saw this one, I couldn't believe it!!! Not only wa it small enough for my needs, but it was red, and so cute. Also, it cost $54.99. After reading most of the reviews, I ordered it. I got it within a couple days! When I took it out of the packaging, it fit perfectly on my limited counter space. Many had stated an odor coming from it when cooking... I did NOT NOTICE ANY ODOR, OTHER THAN THE FOOD COOKING. Also I double checked the two screws people had commented on, they were tight and everything fit together nicely. I hand washed the basket and drawer. The first thing I tried was an Egg Roll... it turned out so good!!! Then, I made frozen french fries in it... Wow! Delicious and crispy! Very little time! Then, I just had to go to the store, and buy a big bag of frozen, breaded mushrooms... NOT THE BAKING TYPE LOL. I love them, but always had to heat oil and fry, which left not only a mess, but having to get rid of old oil. THIS LITTLE AIR FRYER MADE THE MUSHROOMS JUST AS WELL AS FRYING THEM! They were so good! So addicting lol. I found no defects, no odors, and the little cook-book/user guide that came with it was easy to understand. The knobs are easy to read and use. The fryer seems well made. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS LITTLE FRYER, ESPECIALLY IF YOU LIVE ALONE, AND LOVE FRIED FOODS BUT HATE THE OIL. Now, if I can only make myself stop using it every day lol.     • Handle basket suspect at best.

I’ve been using this since 2020. I was aware that the handle could possibly break if you hold it while trying to clean the unit after years. My surprise was that it wasn’t while cleaning the unit that the handle broke it was wall picking it up out of his cradle to transfer hot food from the machine onto a plate when the handle came off and the entire unit thankfully fell back into the enclosure not creating a dangerous situation for anyone or anything in the immediate area. Disappointed with the handle to say the least. Apparently it broke after the warranty period ended. If you buy it get a three-year warranty. Other than the handle situation I’ve absolutely enjoyed this unit and it’s been wonderful. The handle is why it doesn’t get five stars across-the-board. When you wash it just make sure to not hold the handle hold the basket instead. The handle screws go through plastic on the handle. ... show more

    • Loved My Bella Until Handle Totally Disintegrated

Update 12-25-22: To be fair, I've had my Bella air fryer for 2 1/2 years but was surprised when the plastic area around where the screws screwed into the handle totally disintegrated!!! I have no idea what happened. It wasn't mistreated or exposed to any unusual heat or chemicals. The plastic in that area just crumbled and the screws fell out which means the handle is no longer attached to the basket which means I no long can use the air fryer. What happened???? I have three air fryers and Bella is my favorite. It's the perfect size for one or two servings of wings, greaseless fries, toasting two slices of French Garlic bread, a large full chicken breast, two nice size chicken thighs, and so much more. I wouldn't be without this easy to clean, easy to use appliance. I also have a 6 qt air fryer. Between the two, I never use my oven any more and only use the stove top to heat water for tea and coffee or to make mashed potatoes. Oh...talking about potatoes. Try cutting up several potatoes into cubes, rinse with cold water, pat dry, coat with just a tiny bit of avocado oil and seasonings of your choice. Cook them at 400 F in the air fryer until the outsides are crispy and the inside are nice and fluffy like baked potatoes. We LOVE roasted potatoes out of the air fryer. ... show more
