I'm at an age where using the traditional manual can opener is getting more and more difficult due to severe osteoarthritis in my hands. I resisted getting an electric can opener as long as I could, but finally gave in to temptation. Should have done this sooner! The color is perfect for my kitchen (I'm using navy blue with touches of yellow and orange), and it works even better than I'd hoped. Product died after 4 months of minimal use. Will not recommend. Worked great until it died. Thought it was a thermal overload as my wife was using it sharpen a knife on the back. She thought it was connected to the motor, but the sharpener is not. It stoppped and has not worked since. Looking for another unit as I can't find the warranty information anywhere. ... show more

This is a cute little can opener, well worth the price. I purchased this as a gift for someone as they loved the one in my home from another brand. They didn't want one as big as mine and loved how small it was to fit on top their counter space without taking up to much counterspace. I bought this after my old opened died. It had a good review, so I got it and tried it. This is good for regular vegetable cans. I tried it on a large can of juice, it skipped and then got stuck. After trying to open it. five minutes later it was open. The knife sharpener was just in an bad position it did work on longer knives but the paring knife didn't work, too short to sharpen it. ... show more
