I've seen nothing that indicates a weight limit. I looked through the instruction manual and on the item page. The twin xl bedframe seems sturdy though. I only worry because this is for a teenage boy not a ten year old. The center crosspiece is attached and has two rather odd braces underneath. While they do screw into that center crosspiece, the top of the brace rests on top of that crosspiece instead of under. It is screwed in though. Also, there are a few of the slats that have two sided tape on them. You are supposed to remove the film on it and lay the mattress on top of that. An expensive mattress? Because of the things I've mentioned above, I've taken a star. However, it really does seem sturdy and well made other than those things. I'll update if there's an issue in the future.

Went together easily, took more time to clear a space, and unpack the box than to put together. Everything fit correctly, and feels sturdy. Definitely prefer this over our king size frame from another brand, this has more support, and was easier to assemble.

This frame is kind of lightweight compared to others that I have used. I got it for the twin XL mattress that I have. The mattress fits on the frame well. There are no issues, and I am satisfied with this item. However, I recommend that you pay close attention to measurements when ordering the frame. Make sure that it is slightly larger than your mattress if it is a foam one. Foam mattresses expand. In addition to this, they are heavy. Make sure that the frame can accommodate the weight of the mattress. Calculate the weight of the mattress, then add the weight of the person(s) that will sleep on the bed. Then, check to see how much weight that the frame can hold.

This bed frame came well packed and is exactly as same measurements as mentioned. The instructions were clear and assembly of this was very easy. It took like 20 min for both of us(me and my hubby) to set it up. It seems very sturdy and has enough bars, so you can directly put the mattress on it. Few bars have sticky peel off tape on them which is supposed to keep the mattress stable, not slide off from the frame. A Very affordable, sturdy, stable bed frame.
