I use this 25' SS metal garden hose to drain water out of my pool during heavy rains. It never kinks and is the perfect solution for my needs. It sure beats using a rubber hose which kinks, fittings leak, gets unmanageable in the cold, and wears out quickly. The fittings with included washers are nice, too! I bought this hose to dedicate it to my home garden, it is connected to an electronic timer. I was looking for durability more than anything else as other hoses I have owned usually break with the hot weather of the summer time. I like it because it is tangle free, and it is all metal. I may say that it is not light weight but I was not worried about it since it is installed in one particular area only for the home garden. I didn’t mind that it was clearly in a return package, and really rudimentarily packed that it didn’t even fit in the box the previous buyer was able to find to return it. But once I plugged it in, OMG, i wouldn’t even call this leaking. The entire freaking water is flushing out that it doesn’t even reach to the end of the hose. I didn’t capture in the video but the tab is almost all the way off here, just a tad open to demonstrate the leak. When the tab is all the way open the entire water flushed out from multiple holes around the same area. And when I attempted to get a refund, the system is really asking me to return it now. And I’m afraid they’ll just sent it to someone else, like they did to me. So I would def not buy this product. ... show more

    • Solid little hose
Size: 3 ft
I bought this to connect to a Y connector to connect a sprinkler and another hose together. The problem is that connecting the sprinkler to the Y connector is pretty much impossible or at least stupid. Therefore, this 3-foot hose. It connects to the Y connector and then to the sprinkler. There are so many uses for this little hose. I bought one for the farm, and I bought a couple more for my home. I was hesitant at first to buy a 3-foot hose for $10 when I could get a 50-foot hose for just $27. I couldn't figure why they would charge that much. 50 divided by 3 equals 16.7. That means that I should be able to get at least 16 3-foot hoses for the same $27. But since I paid $10 for this 3-foot hose, then if I bought 16 of them, it would cost (according to this scenario) $160. If the cost/price was a true ratio of 50 feet to 3 feet and using the prices related to the $27 50-foot hose, the price for a 3-foot hose should be 27/16 = $1.69. That was my original reasoning for not wanting to pay $10 for this 3-foot hose. And, I still don't know why they charge so much for a 3-foot hose. Maybe it is simple economics like supply and demand. Maybe the main cost is in the end pieces and not the length of the hose. That would be my best guess. The actual hose is much cheaper than the end pieces to manufacture. And that is why we pay $10 for a 3-foot hose and only $27 for a 50-foot hose. Update: 5-23-2025 I bought two more of these because they are useful for what I described previously. Basically, they only apply when you need to connect something from a Y connector. It is totally useless to connect a sprinkler directly onto one of the nozzles of a Y connector. And, therefore, this 3-foot hose fixes that problem. These are heavy duty items, not just a lot of plastic. Great connectors on each side, solid and dependable. ... show more
