  • Best Robotic Pool Cleaner I’ve Used – Smart, Powerful, Truly Hands-Free Best Robotic Pool Cleaner I’ve Used – Smart, Powerful, Truly Hands-Free
Color: Navy Blue
After using pressure-side cleaners for years (including Polaris), I upgraded to the Beatbot robotic pool cleaner; and this is a completely different level of pool maintenance. If you’re looking for a fully automated, cordless, reasonable price, robotic pool cleaner with smart navigation, this is one of the best options out there. Pros: Excellent cleaning performance (floor, surface, walls, waterline). Cleans thoroughly and consistently. Unlike older cleaners that move randomly, this uses smart navigation and actually covers the pool efficiently without missing spots. Just drop it in and let it work, no plumbing, no tangles, no setup headaches. Another thing that I love is Smart auto-parking feature (underrated but VERY useful). When the battery runs low or the cycle finishes, it automatically comes and parks near the pool edge. Makes retrieval easy, no more fishing it out from the pool. The multi-layer filter design captures everything from leaves to fine dirt. Easy to remove and rinse out. The overall build is pretty solid and well-engineered. You can tell it’s a high-end product right out of the box. ⸻ Things to Know (Cons) It’s a bit heavy when lifting out Not a dealbreaker, but noticeable — especially when full of water. I recommend squatting and lifting with your legs instead of bending over. Some water drainage when removing Like most robotic cleaners, it holds water briefly when you pull it out. Let it drain for a few seconds before carrying. Price is on a bit higher side, but this is definitely a premium robotic pool cleaner, but in my opinion, with a company that backs it with long warranty, and rigorous testing of their products; it justify..! On my journey, if I see any changes in performance, I’ll update my review. ... show more

  • Awesome Product to buy Awesome Product to buy
Color: Navy Blue
Having been through the beta and early-launch cycle for the Beatbot Sora 70, I’ve seen it evolve from a promising prototype into a solid "mid-range" contender. While the flagship AquaSense series gets the flashy AI features, the Sora 70 is designed for the pool owner who cares most about one specific pain point: surface leaves. Here is a personal review based on testing the unit through the early 2026 launch phase. 🌊 The Surface King: JetPulse™ Technology The biggest "wow" factor during testing was the surface skimming. Most robots are either "floor only" or "all-in-one," but mediocre at the top. The Experience: Instead of just cruising and hoping leaves drift in, the Sora 70 uses dual water jets to create a current that pulls debris toward its mouth. The Verdict: It’s incredibly effective for floating oak leaves and bugs. However, during testing with heavier "sinker" debris (such as waterlogged flower petals), the jets sometimes scuttled them, causing them to sink before they could be captured. 🧹 Cleaning Performance: Depth to Surface The Sora 70 is a "4-in-1" cleaner, handling the floor, walls, waterline, and surface. Wall & Waterline: It climbs like a champ. The dual-roller brushes did a great job scrubbing the "scum line" where sunscreen and oils tend to collect. The Floor Trade-off: This is where the beta feedback was most vocal. Because it focuses so much on the surface, it can be a bit slower on the floor. In "Pro Mode," it might leave about 5–10% of fine debris in deep corners unless you run a dedicated floor cycle. Suction: At 6,800 GPH, it actually has stronger raw suction than some of the more expensive $2,000+ models, which is noticeable when it hits a patch of sand. 🔋 Battery & Retrieval One of the most annoying parts of cordless robots is "fishing" them out when they die at the bottom. Smart Surface Parking: This worked 95% of the time. When the cycle ends (or the battery hits 15%), it floats to the edge. SmartDrain: This is a small but vital feature. ... show more

  • UNEXPECTED RESULTS UNEXPECTED RESULTS
Color: Light Blue
We were behind this year on our seasonal yard and pool cleaning. Even though our patio was washed and cleaned there was still lots of debris due to winds in Arizona. I was also hoping the BeatBot would help us maintain the pool from debris. Right out of the box, you have to charge it and download the app. While charging I decided to do more patio cleaning and swept more debris into a paper bag, which I totally forgot about until I came back outside with the BeatBot a few hours later. Well to my horror the whole bag with all of the sand, paper and flowers debris ended up in the very deep end of the pool. I set the BeatBot in and ran a cycle. I am shocked at what it picked up, which was pretty much the contents of the paper bag!!! See photo. Expensive product but my pool is beautiful and sans debris!!! ... show more

  • Beats the Aiper X1 Pro
Color: Lavender Purple
I just got the Sora 70 and it skimmed my surface and left morning behind. I previously had the Aiper X1 Pro which didn't skim as expected which is why I returned it. The Sora even climbed into my sun shield which the Aiper didn't do. The only feature the Aiper had which I wish the Sora 70 has is the wireless charging. Overall I'm keeping the Sora 70 I give it a 4.5 ... show more

  • Solid cleaner, great value Solid cleaner, great value
Color: Navy Blue
I beta tested the Sora 70 in an 18k gallon (~600 sq ft) lap pool. I’ve also used the AquaSense Pro, so I had a good comparison. Overall, this thing is a workhorse. Cleaning: • Floor cleaning is excellent — strong suction, picks up dust and leaves easily • Walls and waterline are good, similar to the higher-end models • Fine debris is where it really stands out (great filter basket) • Large debris is no problem either, basket is big enough for leaves The surface skimming actually works better than expected — it does pull in floating debris pretty well. Battery: No issues. Runs ~4–5 hours and always finishes a full clean. App: Improved a lot. You can see status during cleaning. No major issues after an early charging bug got fixed. No real scheduling, but Eco mode runs it every other day automatically. Navigation: Pretty solid overall. It uses a pattern and covers well, but if the pool is really dirty or large, it might miss a spot here and there. It did get stuck on stairs early on, but that was fixed. Maintenance: Much better than older models — single basket, easy to clean, not messy. Other notes: • Lighter than previous Beatbots • Uses a plug-in charger (not wireless) Bottom line: If you want the latest AI features, look at the higher-end models. If you just want something that cleans really well and is a good value, this is the one to get. ... show more

  • App does not upload!
Color: Light Blue
Installing/updating app does not upload. Met all criteria and still says, needs to be plugged in when updating, when it is. Oh well, guess I don’t get to use the app until they fix that issue? I would call customer service but I think it would be a waste of time.

  • Great addition to pool maintenance Great addition to pool maintenance
Color: Navy Blue
I'm the original owner of a 22k gallon irregular trapezoid pool with spa, waterfall, tanning shelf, steps and shelves. I've maintained it myself for 18 years and used pressure hose sweeps for most of that time. This year I added the Beatbot SORA 70 after already owning their Aquasense 2. The SORA 70 has been a big upgrade for surface cleaning. It also has a larger, easier-to-empty basket and is slightly lighter while still having excellent fine-mesh filtration. Both models handle leaves impressively well and navigate my pool's unusual corners, walls, steps, shelves, and waterline far better than any hose sweep ever did. The long battery life (around 5.5 hours on the SORA 70) lets it thoroughly clean even tricky areas like my 9-ft spa with its central fountain pipe. The app is intuitive for scheduling and monitoring, with automatic firmware updates that have improved performance over time. At 66, the 30+ lb weight is manageable for me. Highly effective cleaner that has made pool maintenance much easier. ... show more

  • Next Generation Floor, Walls and Surface Pool Cleaner Next Generation Floor, Walls and Surface Pool Cleaner
Color: Navy Blue
The Beatbot Sora 70 is a new generation pool cleaner that can clean the walls, floor and skim the surface of your pool. Using this robot was a real pleasure. The relatively light weight made it even more usable. It is easy to carry it and pull it out of the pool even for yours truly a 75 year old. It cleaned very efficiently, and the operating was super simple. The Beatbot Sora 70 is one of the very few robot pool cleaners that can clean a pool's walls, floors, waterline, and surface. It's also very affordable making it a great solution for those who want a robot pool cleaner that can do it all. The debris storage bin is super large and easy to install and clean. The app is well designed and can be used to customize the cleaning approach. I have used other brands but they did not climb the walls as well as the Sora 70. Also the Sora 70 does not require an umbilical cord to provide power. The surface cleaning mode uses jets of water to direct debris into the storage basket. The charging connection is simple to use and charging takes about 3 hours. In summary I highly recommend the Sora 70 as a great multipurpose pool cleaner. ... show more
