Good value for the price. Had constant issues with original carb after cleaning trying to rejet. Installed this and it fixed the majority of issues. Little tuning needed for the air screw. Jets seemed to be in a good range out of the box.

It did not work for a 2008 yfz450. Looks just like it but sadly could not get the quad to work right with it.

    • Is it worth it?
I have a 2004 WR450f, bought a used carb and threw it in to see if it worked. And it fired up after a few kicks. It’s not exactly factory but was as close as it gets. Went on a couple mile putt and did not have issues. Probably needs to be tuned properly. But worth it how cheap it was.

    • NOT a good carb
Externally identical to the FCR, but internal differences prevent this carb from working. I have bought two of them, and no mechanic has been able to get them to work properly. They run great wide open, if you can get them there, but typically, the bike will stall as soon as you touch the throttle... if you are able to succeed in getting the bike to idle. They just simply suck. HUGELY disappointed. Better off having your carb professionally cleaned with an ultrasonic cleaner and rebuilt by a professional. ... show more

    • Worked right out of the box.
It bolted right onto my 2004 YZ450F. It's jet settings worked perfectly right out of the box. I live at 4500 feet. I would recommend this product.
