    • Measurements are wrong.
The lines are inaccurate. Just looking at it with the naked eye you can see the 1 gallon line is way too high as compared to the difference between 1 and 2 or 3. I measured a gallons worth of liquid from two sets of measuring tools and those two sets matched each other while the pot is off by a lot. A gallon is well under the first line. 2 gallons of actual water comes in around the 1.75 gallon line. I'm going to keep it but will have to use a stick in will mark and place in the pot as I fill to recognize where the real gallon marks are. Good news is it's technically a bit more than 5 gallons. ... show more

I bought and returned 3 pots before finding this one, as I needed a pot with a completely flat bottom and that was rated for glass top electric ranges. I was so excited to use this but was very disappointed to see that this pot did not have a completely flat bottom as advertised. There is a slight dome to the bottom of the pot. This became extremely concerning when I began to use it... it raddled and made odd heat puff noises. I immediately stopped using it because I feared it would crack me glass stove top. I also noticed that the glass mason jars in boiling water in the pot had created hot spots on the bottom and turned it a burned brown color. ... show more
