After using the pump in cold weather, always tilt the pump to both sides to fully drain any remaining water inside. This prevents leftover water from freezing and expanding, which can damage the diaphragm pump. Some customers have already experienced pump damage caused by frozen water inside, so please be sure to drain the pump completely after each winter use.

This transfer pump works just fine. I found it simple to use and very effective. Due the postive performance, I plan to purchase a few more. The cost was minimal and the pump meets my needs. Due to a small missing external part, I contacted their Customer Service for a replacement. I was informed that the part was not included in an older shipment than I received but that I would be compensated for the clamp. I was issued a credit that was well over the amount of the missing clamp. I was truly impressed by their timely response and the credit amount given for the missing clamp. Water flow isn't as ideal as hoping for, but it works good enough to get the jobs done on work sites. Might get another since its affordable to expirement oil transfers. Milwaukee batteries work perfectly for this.

So I planted 125 crêpe myrtle trees and they were each 4 foot tall. I have a very long road on my driveway. The problem is there is no water down that driveway so I got a 275 gallon water container and put it on my trailer but then gravity feeding became a problem because I had to have two people. One to walk and one to drive the trailer. After doing this watering routine twice, my back hurt from leaning down because obviously the gravity feeder would require the hose to be lower than the water source. I bought this pump and hooked it up to the 275 gallon water tank and I could drive and water at the same time as the pump is strong enough just spray the water at least take to 8 feet out of the water hose. I considered this very good and a great value for my money and was very easy to use and hook up.

Great pump! Any battery that matches a DeWalt style tool works is compatible. The pump is well-made, has brass fittings, and is easy to use. It's a great pump but if you need a drain hose long enough to get the water to flow out of your yard, don't buy the optional one here as it's too short for most jobs; buy a regular garden hose.
