If you’re extremely bothered by bright lights in your room, this is a good clock to get to avoid that issue. I hate bright glowing lights, they make it harder for me to sleep. I was worried about finding a good clock with the perfect brightness after reading reviews on some clocks with most people saying the clocks were “a good level of dimness” but one guy on one review of a clock that I almost bought said “looks like a portal to hell at night, had to put tape over it”. Ultimately I landed on this one, the video provided shows it’s not going to be like you’re standing on the face of the sun in the room you want to be dark. Anyway, the auto-dim feature is great, it’s not too bright at all and the numbers are big enough to see without my glasses. It’s easy to read day and night. And it has a nice look to it. It’s not an eyesore on the nightstand. I opted to plug it in rather than use batteries. I got this because I no longer want my phone next to my bed. This is a great excuse to no longer need it there. Also love the red color because it’s best for your eyes in the dark. It is very self explanatory on how to set it up, all the features you need. Would definitely buy again.

It has automatic dimming (or manual) to various light levels, keeps good time, is easy to read, easy to set the time and the alarm time, and the most accessible button turns the alarm on and off so it's easy to do that in the dark. The snooze alarm it touch sensitive, all you have to do is touch the top of the clock, you don't have to press a button. Very happy with it...perfect for travel or home. AA batteries last at least weeks. The only downside is that it has so many control options with so many buttons (on the back) that setting them, if you are like me, involves looking at them in the light to find the correct button. It has a very large legible display, the size of the whole clock face. Fine clock.

Here is what I love about this clock, in no particular order: • Battery compartment very easy to open • Large, clear display • Display self-dimming, does not glare at night (you can manually dim if desired) • Controls are very easy to use, you do not need a magnifying glass to see what you are doing, and do not need to look up how to use them • Can set it to switch between daylight savings and standard time • Just the right size for my needs • Dual power I highly recommend it.

I wanted a clear, simple clock, which is visible 24/7 for the back of my pickup truck, for camping. This basic digital clock does the job well. Unlike some other clocks on Amazon, this one is pretty simple to set, and that includes both the alarm and regular time. It also has good adjustments for alarm levels and brightness levels, as well as an auto-dimming feature, and even a snooze button. That's a lot of features for an affordable clock. It's relatively lightweight, small enough to throw in a backpack for camping, and can be used solely with batteries, if that's what you want. The large green numerals were easy to read, without being too bold or distracting. One of the things I was specifically looking for was a USB power option, and this clock has that. I can plug this into my truck's USB port in the back in the camper shell, and it will run all the time without worrying about the batteries running out. It even comes with its own USB cable for that purpose. This was a good purchase and I anticipate that it will function without any issues for years...

Unwanted light while sleeping is awful. It harms sleep. So the ability to adjust the light level is important. This clock allows 3 manual settings and 1 automatic setting. The lowest manual setting isn't horrible, but still throws more light than needed to read when the room is dark. Setting it to automatic gives about the same level when the room is otherwise completely dark. Cannot give 5 stars because of the unnecessary brightness. I love that this clock has a daylight savings button. One button that toggles daylight savings on and off. No more adjusting the clock 23 hours every fall. Display is really large, almost alarmingly so. I think I'll get used to it. Power-wise, it gives the option of using four AA batteries, or it comes with a ridiculously short USBC cable. Where I live, the power goes out all the time, so even in the short time I've owned the clock, the battery choice has already saved me the hassle of resetting the clock when the damn power goes out.

Compact but very stable AA battery clock with huge display with USB cable for plug in option. Very easy to set. 3 levels bright to dim with touch of button. Controls are on the back, but very easy to use buttons while looking at the clock face. Perfect for my needs.

Clock is just the right size, easy to read from afar and really nice instructions. Haven’t tried the alarm yet. I can read the time without using my glasses. Light weight and very simple design which doesn’t distract or look out of place near my tv. I can even take it when I travel.

Love this clock! Big numbers, easy to see. Keeps accurate time. Cannot comment on how long batteries last as I’ve only been using for about 10 days on batteries. I like the self-dimming feature for nighttime. If you want it to be really bright at night then leave that feature turned off. I have not tested the alarm feature but other reviews have said it was very loud.
