  • Fun, inexpensive musical instrument
Identical to a Ukulele with a fun sound. Easy to play.

  • Lightweight banjo uke
The Lotmusic banjo uke is lightweight and a fine looking instrument. You have to use a plastic guide to assemble the bridge. My first shipment of LotMusic banjo uke had a few issues. Strings snapping, some flaws in assembly which caused difficulty with bridge and tuning. After exchanging it, this 2nd instrument was much easier to prepare. I suggested to Lotmusic that a video would help with placement of the bridge. They sent one . You have to loosen the strings to place the bridge in proper location. Then, tighten strings while ensuring the bridge doesn’t move. A friend suggested tightened the middle strings first, which helped. You can see that one tuner is assembled crooked on the uke,(previous one had that issue also) but it doesn’t seem to affect the sound. You will need to buy a strap if you like to use one. I like that the accessories-tuner, labeled strings, Allen wrench and gadget to tighten drum were included. It has a bright sound and comes in a soft carry case with a pocket for the accessories. Hopefully this will provide a lot of good music sessions. ... show more

  • My first banjolele
The media could not be loaded. This is my first banjolele. Although Bluegrass music is not popular in my country and I wonder how the sound of the banjo/banjolele will match Thai music but its sound is so charming. As an amateur ukulelist, I decided to buy this banjolele out of curiosity. It didn't disappoint me because of its beauty and its nice sound like many banjos and banjoleles I saw and heard from YouTube clips. During the installation of the bridge, I turned the peg in the wrong direction and broke the first string. A little luckily that there are extra strings in the package and the broken string can be replaced easier than I thought. The bag and the tuner are also acceptable. There's a strap button at the back of its neck but no strap is included. So I temporally attach a guitar strap to it and wait for a new banjo strap I order from amazon.com. All in all, it has given me a very new twist on my ukulele practice. ... show more

  • Very nice banjolele
I already have a concert size banjolele that cost a lot more money but I like this tenor lotmusic banjolele better. It is lighter weight and easier to play. It arrived very well packaged. It was easy to attach the bridge with the plastic guide and tuning went quite well. I had to buy a strap but it was inexpensive. I would recommend this banjolele to anyone that doesn’t want to spend a fortune on a musical instrument. It is well worth the money. ... show more

  • Perfect addition to my ukulele family!!
The media could not be loaded. There is nothing I do not love about this Banjolele! I have been looking for an ukuleke to play jazz, 1920s music, and folk with and this instrument is just right for the job. It has all of the plunky character of a banjo and the playability of my favorite ukulele. It comes with a great starter package of a fitted case, clip on tuner, extra strings and set up tools. The only thing missing is a strap (comes with strap button already installed). I plan on remedying that soon with a custom strap. If found this instrument easy to set up with the included bridge distance guide. I just loosened the strings a little, slipped the bridge in place, and tuned it up. The string height was perfect and all of the notes rang. The fingerboard was comfortable and the frets felt smooth. But, if needed, there is a piece of sand paper included. The first thing I did after set up was to play a couple of songs. It really does sound great for jazz and folk as I was hoping, but sounds just as good playing 80s pop. Uke on! ... show more

  • It's heavy
It's much heavier than I expected, though quality is pretty much as expected. It's fine for plonking. And, who doesn't enjoy bringing a banjo to play with a serious group of island strummers with their expensive Koa Ukes?

  • Sure beats the competition.
This banjolele is much better than similarly priced banjoleles. Bought another brand and sent it back because it sounded mediocre at best. This one sounds really bright and is easy to play. My wife loves it and we may end up getting two.
