The item was very easy to put together. The problem was, once plugged in, only the control panel was operable. The heating element never turned on! And the weather is going to be extremely COLD--the whole reason I bought this heater. Now, I've had to order a replacement and by the time it is expected to arrive, this cold weather event will be over. This is absolutely disgusting. Pay $140 and get something that doesn't even work, then cannot even get a replacement in a timely manner? Completely unacceptable. I will follow up with a review whenever the replacement manages to arrive. EDIT: I've changed my mind--asked for a refund instead of replacement. ... show more

Received this heater with the heating tube broken, didn’t notice and plugged it in, when the heater got hot, the tube popped. Obviously it didn’t heat up after that, power still turns on, but does nothing. Amazon return policy for the most part is decent, but for damaged products it’s terrible. I’m now out $150. I’ve bought a lot of Chinese junk on amazon but this is the first time I received something broken. DO NOT BUY ... show more
