When I got this camera, I wanted to use it for my kids bedroom. The cord is a bit too short for where I wanted to put it, so unfortunately it keeps coming unplugged. The downside is when the camera gets unplugged, we have to reset the camera every time. This part is frustrating. However, I love the ability to move the camera and the clarity of the picture is great. I have not had a chance to see it with the night vision yet, but if it is as good as the regular camera, it will definitely be a great picture. I do wish it came in black so it was less noticeable, but a bit of sharpie marker has done the trick.

Final opinion: can’t recommend for private living areas where conversations occur. Okay for using when it is only recording pets in non-private locations or locations where conversations with sensitive information (think financial, medical, and the like) does not occur. Here’s the breakdown of the pros and cons: Pros — Fairly easy set up — Ability to remotely control direction of camera — Does use an app on the phone which is handy —Video is clear Cons —Made out of thin cheap plastic —Produced an annoying loud beep until it is set up — The app seems hastily and poorly set up. United States or North America were not options in choosing location when setting up. Most important: — The confirmation emails for set up do not come from a company email that is similar to the company or product name. This raises concern regarding the security of the device as it does listen continuously when plugged in. The reason why this is a security concern is that we don’t know where the information that is being recorded is stored where or what the security parameters are around that information. You need to give it your WiFi password when setting it up, so you can see why I have questions. If you have situation where you need to keep an eye on your pet and there aren’t any conversations going on or you don’t care about the location, then it would be okay to use. But I personally wouldn’t use it in my home or RV.

I thought the pan tilt would move slower than it does. in the app you can change the speed so that's cool. I use these cameras all the time and some brands are different than others. this one seems pretty nice for their price point. its light enough to hang upside down on the ceiling but not too light that you can't just set it down without toppling over. it looks good too, appears quality. of course it does't move in every direction, about 360 around, and maybe 90 up and down. but that's all I need. if I set the camera back far enough I can see everything I need too anyways. connecting the camera to the app and the wifi and installing it on the ceiling just took about 30 minutes because I took my time. im sure I could get it done faster. the app told me exactly how to connect everything. there is no 5G option so I use the 2.4G network. the signal seems to go pretty far as well. I have repeaters in the house so they help to get the signal to the camera far away. at night the IR works very well. the image is pretty crisp, I think its 1080P which is more than enough. I have other cameras that are 5 to 8MP but 1080 is all you need for everyday. I can use the SD card or just buy the cloud service which seems safer and cheaper. I had a camera stolen before and if you don't have the cloud service you lose all the video. for the price it's a great camera. highly recommended. I am thinking of getting a few more and just connecting them to the same app so it's easier to view them. A+

The Lifoarey Q45 Smart Camera arrived in nice packaging and setup was nice and easy, too.0 Sadly, this contains yet another application…but…getting past that the picture is dynamic, a slight delay to video calls and movement of the camera, but, again, we are back to superb picture quality! All that said, though, even an easy application is one too many! This thing dings like a dervish so set the application notifications to nothing or you will be sorry, and that, itself, isn't so easy to do. The bunny ears add nothing. This camera is a bit costly, but also provided worth to back most of that up. Storage by SD card and cloud backup make for a nice video/audible history. As always a bit cheaper would be a very good thing, but all in all this delivers value for money. Rating : 5 stars! Buy this product, as we will be doing so again for ourselves or as gifts. 4: A good solid product with few flaws offering good to excellent value for money. 3: The most common rating, a good product at a decent price, perhaps flawed a bit, perhaps with difficult packaging or micro-print instructions. 2: Bottom shelf, would buy this at some fraction of cost for a limited use, disappointing performance, would not donate to charity 1: We are shocked this product is offered for sale.
