I was Really nervous about getting this because there were not a lot of reviews for it. I got It yesterday and will update as necessary but this morning after cleaning it I decided to try an egg in it. It cooked beautifully! It never stuck and the clean up was easy! It’s cast iron so it’s naturally heavy. Again it’s cast iron! The heat distribution once warmed all the way is amazing. I cooked On medium low the whole time. Also remember to warm your oil or butter in the pan and this should keep your food from sticking. Cooking with cast iron requires patience. I believe This is going to be one of go to pans because it does not require seasoning! I love My raw cast iron but this beauty worked great on my egg so I’m excited to sear some steaks, brown ground, meat etc. It’s beautiful and no flaws were found. I’m tempted to get the 10 inch lol! Not only is this pan a delight to use but every purchase goes toward a good cause! This actually ended up being my deciding factor! Thanks for making this apart of your cookware line Ayesha Curry!

I've had this cast iron pan for six months now and am extremely happy with it. It is really high-quality and does everything I need. First of all, it is big enough. Whereas before I would have to do multiple rounds of frying for, say, chicken thighs, now I can do two grocery packages of chicken thighs all at once. Second, it is easy to clean. The coating works very well and means that my cleanup time is reduced from my old frying pan. Third, it is beautiful. We got the teal version which sets off our kitchen nicely. Fourth, it works well on our ceramic stovetop. I see some other reviewers complaining about it, but I've never had it scratch our cooktop nor cause any undue cleaning issues. But please be aware - this thing is heavy. As a man, I am able to move it around easily, but my wife, who is not tiny, has a tough time with it. Make sure your wrists are up to the task.

Beautiful Dutch oven and made well. I received my Dutch oven and it is heavy. I have cooked Jambalaya first preparing on the stove then oven baking for 2.5 hrs delicious. I have also done stew from stovetop to oven for 3 hours and was delicious. I browned the meat prior to putting the dish together and it did well with that and coming to a boil quickly. I have had no chips so far and have used it a few times as I stated stovetop to oven. I used the rubber stoppers that set around the rim for storage. As with most coated Dutch ovens you have to be careful with the enamel but I have had no issues so far with regular cooking. The quality is beautiful I am happy with my purchase. Clean up was also easy. Updated Nov 2022 This Dutch oven has held up wonderful. Lately I have made the rustic bread recipe you just stir together put in fridge and then pull out let rise and drop into heated Dutch oven to bake for 30 minutes. This Dutch oven takes high temperatures and back to back loaf baking. Beautiful and fluffy bread so good!!

New to cooking. Bought this after having it sit in my wish list for several months. Heat distribution is very even- also very hot (recommend starting with a lower heat and giving plenty of time for the pan to heat prior to adding foods). I only gave it 3 stars for easy to clean (I'm learning here) because I did need soak lightly with dawn dish soap and use a plastic cleaning brush quite hard to remove burnt chunks from between ridges. It did clean well without stripping the pan, but I did expect less effort. The pan is sturdy-good quality and good value for beginners like me. I wasn't sure if this would work on my glass top stove- read mixed reviews prior to purchase- and I'm happy to say that on a glass top stove it worked perfectly (remember the pan is heavy, it's a glass top and don't slide the pan. Recommend purchasing the hot pad handle as the pan heats evenly EVERYWHERE. Have only used on stove with Avocado oil which has a high smoke/burn temp. Recommend if looking for trying out a grill pan. Only gave 4 stars as this is my first grill pan and have no comparison.

Bought this when I moved out of my parents house. I just wanted a big skillet for meal prepping and I'm glad I picked this one. It's definitely heavy which can make it hard to clean but its a good skillet. Cast iron coated in enamel. The color is beautiful and was more affordable than Le' Cruset and I feel confident that nothing dangerous is leeching into my food when I cook. Only thing that was difficult was finding a lid that fit this. This really should have come with one, because the 12 inch lids I bought didn't fit so im making do with one that only kind of fits.

This is a must have skillet if you want to avoid the non-stick surfaces and chemicals that come off of them. I use this skillet for everything...frying eggs, cooking steaks, making soups...it does it all. I bought a glass lid that fit on camping skillets and it works perfectly on this pan. The blue enamel coating on the outside of the pan is beautiful and easy to keep clean. It is a bit pricey but well worth the money.

I was really excited to try the Ayesha Curry Enameled Cast Iron Skillet, especially because of the beautiful Twilight Teal color, which is vibrant and adds a pop of style to my kitchen. The skillet is well-made and has a sturdy feel, with convenient pour spouts for easy pouring of liquids. However, I found that it just wouldn’t heat up properly on my electric stove, even when set to high heat. Despite waiting longer than usual, it never reached the level of heat I expected for searing or cooking at high temperatures. Unfortunately, this lack of heat distribution significantly affected my cooking experience, and I had to switch to a different pan for certain tasks. Given this issue, I wouldn’t purchase this skillet again, as I need a pan that can efficiently handle high heat.
