  • Price Bias
2011 WRX. Head unit was just plug and play. No instructions on what harness to use so you have to look at it and figure it out and only one plug plugs in while there is 2 on the adapters. Also had to use the original radio receiver plug but plugged in just fine. The whole install took about 5-10 mins. Super easy. The Headunit itself: Wireless car play took 30 seconds to set up and just worked instantly with no fuss. I have not used any of the base android head unit for anything other than setting up steering wheel controls which was super easy and adjusting the EQ so I don’t know how the Navigation and other apps really work on the headunit side. I never planned to use it like that anyways. When I start the car it instantly goes to CarPlay, and takes about 10 seconds to boot and connect. It just works pretty flawlessly to be honest for what it is. It feels more like a cheaper phone or tablet. The shell is a perfect fit. It aligns up perfect and snaps into place. There is no screws which is fine cause the shell and headunit itself is super light and thin so you just snap it in place and your done. It doesn’t rattle which was something I was initially worried about when I saw it just clipped into place. You have to take the vents for the air off the old shell and place them on the new. Does not come with new ones. ISSUES: The specs have more to be desired at some points. (Like I said. Feels like a cheaper phone.) Scrolling is a bit laggy. Clicking some stuff has a “load” delay. It’s not long or really bothersome. It only has 2gbs of ram so if you attempt to multitask on it at all it will for sure show that. I ONLY use Wireless car play so I don’t really notice anything aside from when I’m scrolling through Spotify to pick a song and the scrolling is a bit laggy. I don’t have a android phone so I can’t say how android auto works. Price: I did not pay full price. I payed just a bit over $100usd. For that price I would buy it again. However it sits around closer or around $200usd for that I don’t think it would be worth it personally. If there is a sale or you have cash back available it’s not a bad choice. ... show more

  • Returned it.
Has everything you need to directly install in Your Subaru. No wiring needed. Everything is plug and play. I don’t need anything high end or fancy. I just wanted a nice head unit. Increased the power of speakers. A lot louder than my old head unit and better than the stock. A lot of adjustability if you’re into that. I use mostly the CarPlay which connects via wire. I have yet to figure out how to setup the wireless CarPlay. But for now it works great. I love the fact that it also retains the factor steering wheel control without any extra parts. During breaks at work I would connect to my hotspot and watch movies or videos on YouTube. It’s a cheaper alternative to Idoing brand. EDIT: After 2-3 weeks I returned it. CarPlay was very spotty. Bluetooth barely works. I would drive home with no music cause CarPlay or Bluetooth won’t work. I returned it and bought the original. Only good thing it got going that it was simple to install. ... show more

  • Nice radio
I was quoted $1100 for a radio. This one was a plug and play. But I did have 4 plugs left over and I didn't use all of my factory wires. But it works and I like it. Please

  • Great unit overall!
For the price, it’s a great deal. Speakers sound way better than factory and screen brightness and clarity is great. Wireless CarPlay works well and only takes a few seconds to connect. Minimal lag and quite a lot of settings. Fairly plug and play but took a few hours to install due to some mistakes when wiring in a subwoofer and backup camera. Thankfully, customer support was responsive and helped resolve my issue. Overall, I am very happy with this unit. ... show more

  • Stoped working
The product was easy to install and worked well for about a month and then stopped working correctly. It would have an error screen and i just pressed the screen over and over and it would finally work. But a month later it has not worked at all. It just starts to load and stays on a black screen with the word Android on it. So I reset it about 500 times and that never worked and also unplugged it and replugged it in and still nothing. Extremely unhappy with the short life of the product. Wish I could get my money back or at least have it replaced. Haven't heard music in my car in months now. ... show more

  • Awesome Upgrade From Factory
The media could not be loaded. Easy to install with a perfect fit. Added a touch of modern car with great sound and a lot of features. Big upgrade from the Stock radio. Looking forward to being able to use the navigation on a big screen and not my mobile phone. Would recommend 👌

  • Fits perfectly for my 2012 Subaru wrx
It fits perfect , looks like it came with original car and sounds better than before with the stick speakers . It sometimes has a few glitches but I restart it and it picks up right where it left of. It’s easy to set up and run. I would def recommend it

  • Great display but a laggy GPS
The best part of this stereo install is the device mirroring. I was shocked when I saw that there was basically no lag, and the stereo was just as sharp and bright as the iPhone that it was mirroring. Usually, these systems tend to be a bit more dull or blurry than other smaller devices, but this one is clear and resolute. I also appreciate that the interface on this stereo has bright icons that are clear and colorful so that they are easy to navigate between even when driving. Unfortunately, the GPS has a bit of lag. I hate when GPS systems are unreliable because that is the main appeal of having a large screen stereo– it completely defeats the purpose of non-distracted driving when the GPS can’t keep up with your every movie. I hate that his GPs aren’t as good as the other features because, otherwise, this would have been 5 stars, but it is important to know that the GPS is dull, slow, and laggy before purchasing. The installation for this device is rather straightforward. I’ve found that these devices are easy to install if you have basic car knowledge and some common sense, but even if you don’t, the directions are easy to follow. If you can manage GPS on a different device like your phone, then this is a great system to have in your car. But if not, then you might want to look elsewhere for more reliable directions. ... show more
