An easy "just incase" rain coat for travel. It's lightweight, seems waterproof (did the job to keep me dry during sprinkles in Italy) and doesn't take up much space. I wanted something compact, inexpensive and reasonably good looking for my trip to Europe, and this did the job. The only strange thing, design-wise, is the black cording on an otherwise entirely off-white jacket.

Purchased this light windbreaker for running errands in the rain where I get in and out of the car - I live in Seattle. It seems well-made and repels water (not sure about how it would stand up in a soaking rain). I ordered the black/gray and it looks good. I am a female, 5'4", size L or XL in tops or size 14. I have a large chest and big upper arms, but no protuding tummy. So I ordered an XL thinking it would fit over a long sleeve top. A size Large would have been better. I think it runs a bit big. The sleeves are a long on e, and it's too big overall. The fit is flattering but boxy - it goes straight down on the sides rather than carving in at the waist. Overall, I am pleased with it. But if I order again, I would size down to a Large.

This jacket folded nicely in my carry on or my bag as I walked the streets of Portugal. It’s rain resistant, so it was perfect for light rain or with an umbrella. The hood was comfy. I loved that it had two pockets, wasn’t hot, and was easily slipped on and off with the variant weather here. Note: Although I didn’t get wet, the jacket started to get damp in a torrential burst of rain. It dried quickly when I shook it out. It’s still worth buying!

Thought I'd need a rain shell for my recent trip to the Galapagos. Turns out, I used it more in Quito - during their recent torrential rain storms as the altitude there made it also quite brisk to be outside. I was really glad I brought it along, but never used it once on the boat tour of Galapagos. This jacket had many pluses for me. 1) Small enough to pack into a 6" stuff sack, so it was easy to find room in my luggage. 2) Truly was water repellent. 3) The XL fit me exactly as I had hoped and wasn't tight or too loose either. 4) Ample pockets for storage of cell phone, chap stick, money, tissues, etc. 5) The clever pocket flap design made it pick-pocket proof, which was necessary, unfortunately.
