I connected it to the PS5 and it formatted it for me, and i was ready to download all my PS5 and PS4 games on to it. Download time is VERY,VERY, fast. Functionality is great. It was so easy to use. It's kind of big, so it's not like a Toshiba external drive, but it costs less. It not that portable. It will fit in a book bag. It's compatible with PS5 and PS4 game downloads. The only thing is, YOU CAN ONLY PLAY PS4 GAMES DIRECTLY FROM THE DRIVE. PS5 GAMES NEED TO BE DOWNLOADED TO THE PS5 FIRST, THEN PLAYED. It's on the Playstation5 instructions MANUAL. Unit comes well packaged in a nicely designed case. Works exactly as described. I'm able to play ps4 games directly from the drive flawlessly. PS5 recognized and connected to drive automatically. This unit can also store PS5 game but to play it would have to be copied back to console drive. Transfer is much quicker than having to reload game. I highly recommend this product. ... show more
