I am using this drive as a DVR for a Tablo Quad unit. Originally bought for a AirTV Dual via Youtube reviews. AirTV is now associated with Sling TV and was not a good unit for several reasons. It comes formatted but I let the Tablo format it anyway and took just seconds. It is quiet and runs fairly cool. Tech support got 3 stars because I have not had to use them. The hardDrive worked just as expected and all I had to do was plug it in. I did not rate the tech support because I have not needed that service. I recommend this drive to those needing storage space. I used mine on my AirTV so I could record over the air channels.

The media could not be loaded. I like that it is small and not to big it has 300 GB of space it’s very useful if you don’t have much space get it I say!

    • Scam item, it's only for consoles but mentions this nowhere on the product page
Sure a PC can "read it" but the connection is so horrendous you can't even transfer a PowerPoint slide before the connection breaks. Literally a better option to just buy 50 8 GB sticks. Also for console users: YOU DON"T EVEN GET 500GB THESE CHEAPSKATES HAD SKIM OFF 50GB.
