I bought two and am very happy with my purchase. It took some time to put together but nothing was difficult and directions were easy to follow. Adjustable heat dial is nice and works well. We had a get together this past weekend and five of us were very comfortable on a chilly evening. I had one issue with the hardware. The factory sealed package on one or my heaters was missing the three bolts to attach the heat reflector on top. This was not anyone’s fault by any means. This was a machine failure during packaging. I contacted them and they quickly send the bolts I was missing. I would recommend this item to friends and I have. Update: I carelessly stored my heaters and one blew over during a very heavy storm. Customer service could not be more helpful. The way I was treated made me feel like a family member. I could actually hear their sadness for me during the call. Damaged items were shipped to me immediately. I will follow their recommendation of using a bungee cord to secure the heater to my garage wall. Seriously, these are fantastic heaters and you should go all in if you’re thinking about purchasing one.

The unit was somewhat easy to assemble but has some flaws. First the brackets that hold the top part of the screens around the glass tube screw into the top plate. The screws supplied are machine screws and should be sheet metal screws and do hold the brackets in place causing the metal protective screens to be held in place securely. The next flaw is the access panel for the propane. It has a knob that attaches by a screw that has a large washer and chain that attaches to the inside of the panel so you can remove it to start the unit up and also access the propane tank. It is held at the top of the panel by a magnet attached to the inside of the access area. Unfortunately, whoever designed this went the cheap route and used an aluminum washer and guess what it makes the magnet not work since it is aluminum. Going to ACE Hardware to get the proper shrews and washer. Sounds simple but it should not be like this, and the manufacturer should have known better, but I doubt they even use the unit in China and cheap and easy is the name of the game!!!

The item was easy to assemble. The shipping box arrived damaged, but the product looked okay. I assembled the item, and it does NOT ignite! Only a pilot light that burns indefinitly The flame control knob does not turn to Low setting.

I bought 3 of these for my patio. My first impression when assembling is the metal is pretty thin. On the first one the holes in the top were off causing it to be angled to the bottom. I had to remove the screen and drill new holes to rotate the top where it lines up with the bottom. The second heater was missing a rubber gasket that goes on the bottom of the glass tube. I contacted the Seller and they were quick to respond. (I have not received the missing part yet). I robbed the gasket out of the third one. I have not tried to put the third one together yet. The instructions are pretty much what you get with products from China. Not real complicated and there aren't too many different size screws to decipher. It comes with an allen wrench. Do yourself a favor and get a bigger one. My hands and fingers were cramping using the little one they send. I got some outdoor furniture at the same time and one came with an allen wrench on a ratchet. Wish I had seen it before I put these heaters together. After I got them together they look nice. I like the way the flame goes up the tube. On high the flame just makes it to the top of the tube. The nights got warm after I got everything set up so I haven't really needed them for heat. The little bit that I used them they seem to put off good heat but you'll need to be close to them. UPDATE: I contacted customer support about the missing gasket. They responded quickly and sent a new gasket. Someone even called to make sure I received it. I sure can’t complain about that. They went up .5 stars for that.
