Hold the red push button in and ignite it with your butane lighter. Continue holding the button until the front element turns red, then release and it will stay lit. The build quality is solid, and the tip-over safety valve provides peace of mind. Heating my two-and-a-half-car garage to a comfortable temperature, even in cold weather, is effortless. If you want more heat distribution, placing a small fan at a distance to blow on the element can really supercharge the heat circulation. The media could not be loaded. Works great just installed it on my tank I use it when I’m in my garage working on different projects. I have a two car garage and on low setting it is very efficient. Standing approximately 10’- 12’ away you feel comfortable in the cold winter. I do keep one door up about 2” for fresh air moving around. Really a great product and good price point. I love this heater. I was upset because it wasnt working. Turns out a spider had climbed up the tube and clogged it with web. If your heater is burning like this please shine a flashlight and check. NOW IT BURNS GREAT AND I LOVE IT.
