The running boards have been on over a month. Install was the easiest of all the running boards I have installed, This was on a 2024 Ram 1500 Quad cab. There is no flex to them, I run about 270 pounds. There is no road noise from the running boards compared to other types I have installed. The tread has excellent traction. the only real downside to the steps in the brackets that mount to the rocker is short the step is in next to the truck. It looks great as the step isn't like hanging 6 inches out from the truck. Even with the short foot print if that what you would call it. I would purchase these again in a heart beat. They look great installed as the stainless stands out. The finish of the metal was excellent. They came packaged up with plenty of protection. The boxes were damage free when delivered, for being odd sized box that is unusual. ... show more

Never had running boards that rattle when you step on them, before. For the price, however, a little cheese should probably be expected. The provided hardware is robust and of good quality. Instructions are simple and easy to understand. Had them installed in high wind while repeatedly fumbling tools and losing washers within an hour, so I imagine someone competent could do it in less. I have only had these on for about six months and they are already starting to rust. Installing them was easy but they do make sounds when you step on them so not great quality. I do not recommend wish I can get my money back.

I actually did not expect these to be as nice as they were.. I took a chance on them given the reviews, expecting they would likely be of lower quality than my original running boards that I was replacing. I’m glad I was wrong. so far as I can tell from my initial install and day 1 use, they appear to be a fantastic value. Installation is a simple procedure, albeit if you don’t have a lift, you’ll be doing a lot of crouching to get the mounts installed onto the frame studs; just the nature of installing any running board. Mine came flawless with no damage or scuffs. Took about 20 minutes to put them on and was a breeze. Time will tell how well they hold up, but like I said - initial impression is very positive! These look great and feel just as sturdy as the factory boards, maybe even more sturdy. ... show more

The nuts and bolts are miss-sized and soft metal. They will not torque per instructions due to the softness. They are also not metric nor SAE. Therefore, they slip in the wrench and/or socket and will not tighten down. No way will they ever go to 15 pounds on the torque wrench. I had to replace every single nut and bolt with normal nuts and bolts. Of normal hardness. It is as if the nuts and bolts are a joke, as this running board is fantastic. I love it, after I rectified the situation. It is wide and sturdy and very stylish. Buy it for the running board. But be prepared to get your own nuts and bolts. ... show more
