We are so excited for this! We’ve been wanting an automatic door for our chickens for awhile, and this one had a great coupon so we decided to give it a go. So far so good! Were heading out of town for a few days this next weekend, and we’re excited that we won’t have to have someone come lock them up after dark since it’ll close automatically. This solar panel door is the best store that I have found. Day I got it was raining and misting most of the day. We didn’t have very much sun to talk about. Later on that night after I put the chickens in their penthouse, one of them walked to the door and it open. I was shocked that anything got charged enough to be able to use it that day. I bought this for my dad and he said it was a super simple install and works well. He set it up with solar which is convenient since he doesn't have electricity at the coop. The coupon made this a bit cheaper than the competitors. The quality seems good but he only set it up a few days ago.
