I liked this automatic chicken coop door opener because I found it convenient and safe to use, I no longer have to be concerned about getting up so early to let my chickens in and out and neither I have to get up in the middle of the night to let my chickens out and be waiting for them all to come back inside. One of the features that I like about this automatic chicken coop door opener is its timer, remote control, and light-sensitive controls. Now I can easily program to let my chickens enter and exit their coop at their will, and since my chickens enjoy going in and out more often now, then it is a plus for me. And because this chicken coop door has a lithium battery that can be charged via solar power or USB port, it became one less thing that I have to worry about for now. I gave a full charge on this coop and then, I installed it and since I am in the summertime, I think my chickens will be good for the next two months, then I just go again and give another full charge to not rely only on solar power. One more thing that I appreciate in this chicken coop door is that it has a safety feature that senses when one of my chickens is still passing through the door. Therefore, as soon it senses one of my chickens passing while the door is still closing it automatically stops and retracts giving time for my chickens to pass through the door safely.

Bought this solar door for my pets that lived in the backyard. I had two small tortoises that lived in the yard during summer. I let them hang around by themselves, but I had to open and close the gate manually. After installing this amazing solar automate door system, I had saved a lot of time. The installation is very easy, simply follow the instructions that came with the package. It takes me less than half hour to get all set up. The solar panel is able to collect and store electric energy to operate the door, the battery life lasts pretty long. I found it super convenient and safe. The tortoises are able to go out and in from their house whenever they feel like, I no longer need to manually open the gate for them. Also it's durable for all kinds of weather, you do not need to worry about rain or shine, it works perfectly, it also has the feature to operate it manually just in case if the battery is out or there's any failures. So far the pets are enjoying it and I'm impressed by it.

Got this installed this weekend. We bought it a month earlier but the weather has been terrible so we hadn't gotten it in. Unfortunately, the door doesn't open or shut. I think it's a defect of some sort. Motor doesn't seem to work at all. Unfortunately the return window closed and we reached out to the manufacturer who has yet to respond. My advice would be to look elsewhere if you're looking for a reliable door.

I like all the solar power related products because it is eco-friendly, and I can get free power from the sunlight. This chicken door is one of the products that takes advantage of solar power. It comes with a solar panel that I can set on top of the chicken house, during the day, it will charge the battery, and since I just open and close the door like once a day, this battery is good enough for me. The cool feature is that I can use a wireless controller to open and close the chicken door, and I don’t have to manually do that anymore.

The door arrived with no issues. It came pre-charged which was really nice. It made the installation process much easier. I was able to test it without waiting for it to charge. I did not come with a template, but I just opened the door and traced the opening. The cord is long and makes it easy to place the Solar panel where it would get the most light. My door is set under my covered run and doesn't get the best lighting for the sunrise/sunset option. I am pleased I can set the timer to open and close. I also love that it comes with a remote control and I was able to open the door and let a chicken in that was out when the door closed The problem I have discovered is my chickens shuffle the wood chips from the coop into the railing where the door should slide and it stops the door from closing/opening. I have to clean it out to get it to start working again. I have solved this by placing a small board as a barrier.

The unit is OK for most applications EXCEPT snow country. The anti-squeeze feature hates snow and or ice and will keep the unit from operating if ANYTHING impedes it's travel. Other than that I liked it overall, but, it goes back as I can't have it non-operational just because we got a skiff of snow.

This chicken coop door has been such a great help in protection and stability in mealtimes for my chickens. This door has an excellent design. The door has a great durability providing a confident layer of protection for my coop. This door was a lot easier to assemble then I had expected. The instructions were pretty simple and so easy to follow. I can easily set times for the door to open and close. The door is very firm and sturdy as well. I love the design and structure of this coop door. My chickens have adapted very quickly to it, and I have lost so much less chickens.
