10 out 10 on this one. Beautiful, sleek design. Very quiet. It not visually disrupting. Holds more than I imagined visually. Suitable for my two cats and small dog. First off, let me just tell you guys how much I truly love this fountain I purchased. I have noticed such an improvement in both my cats and even my dog. ( I even caught my toddler drinking from it) It lets me easily track their water intake while being quiet, functional, and sanitary. The transmitter stopped working correctly. It made the door open and close at different times, not the set times. I followed all instructions correctly. It worked great for 3 weeks then it started doing what it wanted. I made sure it was fully charged and that I set the times the right way according to instructions. I even turned it off for a whole day and kept it in the sun. I don't think this product is water proof as it seemed like there was moisture in the solar transmitter lights, which doesn't make sense if it need solar to run it needs to be outside 24/7. Returning for a refund as I see some other reviews recently had the same issue. Super disappointed bc I like the door alot. Very strong and well made. ... show more

Really happy with this solar chicken coop door! It was super easy to set up—only took about 10 minutes with the screws they gave. It runs on solar power but also comes with a USB-C cable to charge it. I made sure to fully charge it before using like they said, and it’s been working great. I love that it opens and closes by itself with the timer or the light sensor. Makes it way easier, especially when we’re not home. No more running out in the cold or rain to open the coop! The size is perfect for my chickens, and it would work for ducks or rabbits too if they’re not too big. The door is strong and made from tough stuff, so it holds up even in bad weather. We had some snow and it still worked fine. One thing I really like is the anti-pinch feature. If a chicken is in the way, the door will stop and bounce back, so you don’t have to worry about them getting hurt. It is a good value for the money I spent. All around, this door makes life easier. This works well. It has been a week and there are no problems. We use the light sensor vs the time clock and the open/close timing is fine. Of course, the term bird brain is well represented by chickens so we do look to make sure one if our knuckleheads isn’t locked out. So far so good, but we may revert to the clock method if the chickens are faked out by the door. The remote needs a second push sometimes but we don’t use it often so it isn’t a big deal. Also, as the photo shows, we installed our door in a wire mesh wall and needed to frame the opening to mount the door. The solar cell/battery cord isn’t that long so choose your door location with this in mind. ... show more

    • Closes but then immediately opens back up. Replacement door suffers from same issue.

Door has issue w closing correctly. it will roll all the way down, but then the sensor seems to kick in and it opens back up halfway, waits about 5-10 seconds before attempting to close again. upon closing a second time, it will wait for 5-10 seconds before opening up completely and then remaining open after that. it did this immediately out of the box and before any installation was attempted. sad part is, i had returned the first one i got because of this issue and the replacement they sent me did the same exact thing. searching through other comments shows that this appears to be a more recent manufacturing/assembly issue (2-4 months as of the time writing this review) that still hasn't been addressed. ... show more
