I bought this in hopes that it would supply enough power to run jack stands on 5th wheel RV's as I move them from Mfg yard to our transport yards. I suspected it may not give continuous power for the duration of running those jacks up/down and I was right. It would only give about 10secs of power at a time causing too much delay for my purpose. It would also shut down into default/stop mode causing me to have to unhook and rehook to clear. Furthermore, the power supply drained quickly [Li-Ion] and couldn't keep up w/ the necessary charge between short [15min] loads. So, this will not supply a continuous power supply, but was also not designed to do so. I will still keep this nice little unit for jumping anything, including my Duramax Diesel truck, as it has plenty of power to do it's intended job. Will also travel w/this as it's compact and handy. [I ended up buying a regular lead-acid jumper box for my temporary power supply as using my aux 12V deep cycle battery takes too long to hook up for my temporary use. Time is money.] Overall, this is a very practical unit that is light, compact, & easy to use for jumping anything and I will keep it for emergency power use.

I was on the vacation two times this year and my car was parked in the garage all this time (two weeks and next time for three weeks). Each time when I returned from the vacation, I had a problem to start the car. Now it is about to die. I cannot start the car on the next day even though I was driving the whole day before (Did I got a defective battery on the new car two years ago?). Toyota is going to replace my battery for free, but they have it on the back order. Anyway, after three times of calling for the Toyota Road Assistance with the jump starter, I decided to purchase my own. I had some hesitations to purchase this device after reading negative feedback that it does not work very well for the completely dead batteries, but decided to purchase it anyway as my battery is not completely dead yet. I received the device today. It was already charged (4 lights from 5). Before trying it, I saw some videos from other people, who purchased this device. One guy shows on the video that first he connects clamps to the dead battery and then connects these clamps to this portable jump starter. This is WRONG! If you do this, you can get a spark from the battery (if it is not dead like in my case). Just follow the instructions: first connect clamps to the jump starter and then connect the clamps to the dead battery. In this case the jump starter will provide a protection. Anyway, this device works perfectly for my car. But before using it, I turned off the A/C in my car, the navigation screen, and all lights inside and outside of the car. After using it, the jump starter had the same 4 lights from 5. UPDATE: After one week of driving with using this jump starter (each time when I start my car), I could not start my car this morning with this device (it was fully charged). While the jump starter was connected to the car battery, I pressed the Booster button, but it did not help. Then I disconnected the jump starter, disconnected all cables from it, and waited for 1 min. After that I connected the cables to the jump starter and pressed the Booster button. When I connected the red cable first and then the black one, I got a spark on the black cable (it means, the protection was disable and the Booster is enabled). After that I was able to start the car. My battery is still not completely dead yet. UPDATE on 04/24/2020: A couple of days ago two people stopped me at the Safeway garage and asked me if they could use my car to jump start their Chevy truck. Luckily, I still had my AUTOGEN car jump starter in my car, but I did not use it for 6 moths. To my surprise, I still got 5 lights from 5 on it, when i connected cables. I was able to jump start their car from the first attempt. They were really impressed and said, they were going to buy it also.

I had a Stanley jump starter but I could never successfully jump start my 2020 F-350 with the 7.3L gas engine. I haven't tried it yet with this one but it's already much easier to charge. Charging with the Autogen took just about 3 hours. With the Stanley, I never could tell if it was fully charged even after 2 days. The Autogen simply shuts off when it's fully charged. Everything about this Autogen is so much better that what I had - many more amps, much smaller and lighter. My only concern is that you're not supposed to store it in temperatures greater than 114 degrees or less than 40 degrees. In Nebraska, the inside of my truck can often be outside of that range.
