No need to have that clunky cable VCI port this one is so seamless and easy. It even beeps at you when you’re leaving the vehicle so you don’t forget that it’s in the vehicle still. You don’t need to charge it. It charges in the car when it’s plugged in it’s awesome 100 times recommend
