I absolutely love the EcoFlow DELTA 3 Max Plus. It’s one of those purchases where you immediately feel like you made the right decision. It’s powerful but super easy to use, and no complicated setup, just plug it in and go. It charges incredibly fast, the screen is clear and simple to read, and it feels really solid and well built. I’ve used it around the house, in the garage, and during a short outage, and it handled everything without any issues. It gives me real peace of mind knowing I’ve got reliable backup power ready whenever I need it. One of my favorite ways to use it is with my Rivian. I plug the EcoFlow into the truck and then use the EcoFlow to power our camper. It works perfectly as a buffer between the Rivian and the camper. I can set the charge limit on the EcoFlow so it controls how much power it’s pulling from the truck, which keeps everything from overloading. Instead of stressing about drawing too much from the Rivian outlets (since they are 1500 watts max), the EcoFlow manages it smoothly and consistently. It’s been an awesome setup for camping and road trips, and honestly it makes the whole experience feel more flexible and worry-free, and a great way to utilize the entire battery of the Rivian for camping via the Delta 3 Max Plus.

Great little UPS. Far superior to the other non-LFP products. Got really tired of having to replace 250.00 worth of sealed lead acid batteries every two years. The LFP batteries in this unit should last 10 years.? We'll see.

Aquello que no debieron realizar es cambiar los enchufes CA en la parte frontal lo cual considero un error en comparación a sus versiones anteriores que estaban muy bien en la parte posterior. I have had my unit for over a week and now ready to give my review for the Delta 3 Max Plus. I love love the fact I can put 1kw of solar into it. The biggest problems with a lot of competitors units is you cannot get enough solar power into the unit to make it a true backup power system for a substantial period of time. I have this unit in my garage running two lamps, a small freezer, a few battery chargers and my exercise bike with no issues.

From the advertisements and reviews, I was under the impression it would automatically switch from powering items from the battery or grid to help you save money by not using the grid during peak hours. However, it does not do this. It will automatically switch to grid in anticipation of a coming storm, but with good weather you have to manually switch off the “power from the grid” if you want it to run off battery during peak hours.

As a first time owner of a power station, I didn't know if I wasn't sure what I needed from it and here is what I've found after owning a delta 3 max plus. 1. It has way less number of outlets than the previous versions. You might think you don't need more until you get it and notice that more ports is better. 2. You cannot add more than 1 extra battery because they reduced the ports to one. 3. It turns off when devices draw less than a certain amount of power(15W) when connected to AC(this annoys me because I bought this power station for outages since I work from home and must have power, internet and I simulated an outage where I needed it to power my wifi modem/router, 2 lights, my laptop and my phone) and after some time, it shut off automatically disconnecting me from internet. I thought that using it with very low power consumption is going to make the battery power last longer and that's not true when using AC. I heard that the AC outlets lose 22W just when being used even if I'm using 10W, the delta 3 max plus is losing 22W+10W=32W. I read that the best way is to use the cigarette outlet or DC because it doesn't waste 22W like the AC but many low power devices I have still use AC cord, not usb cables. Now I must buy a DC to AC inverter to keep my power consumption as low as possible. 4. There's a 1 star comment saying that their station isn't charging passed 30% and I believe that someone messed with the charging range of the station. The charging management needs good understanding otherwise, you might see a weird behavior of the unit and not understand why it's doing that. I reduced the charging power and range in the app without knowing and I was surprised that it wasn't fast-charging and later why it stopped at 60% not charging for hours. 5. My Anker 300W power bank cannot dual charge using a CalDigit Thunderbolt 4 cable on the 45W usb-c ports. Any other cable works fine but not a Thunderbolt 4 cable on the 45W with Anker power bank (this happens only with Anker power bank. My phones do fast charge using any of the two 45W ports). 6. Solar panels are VERY SLOW charging on this power station. I tried a 450W solar panel costing me around $500 on a sunny day just to find out I'm getting 200W at max because a leaf shadow on the panel can drop the charging power by 100W and it's annoying to have to constantly track the sun's position and move the panel accordingly. I don't like noisy gas generators but I found a good small portable gas generator of about $200 that can fully charge the power station in less than 2 hours. This is very efficient because I can fast charge the delta 3 max plus in less than 2 hours, and use it to sleep 5+ hours with my heating blanket which draws 120W or more than 6 hours with my big Lasko fan which draws 45W and not be bothered by a generator noise at night.
