Every locksmith should have one of these. This is the first tool i grab when doing obd key programming. Great for newer toyotas for backing up immo data and creating analog emulator smart keys. They recently released the universal clone chips that also work great. A must have tool.

This is not for general public use. It did not have a code for a Huyndai Elantra newer model. The YouTube videos that I found were not applicable to this. When I contacted the company regarding the diagnostics feature, they stated that this model was not meant to be sold to the general public. Even though the description shows that it also provides diagnostics. The company did indicate that I could contact Huyndai for the code to program a key fab, but this would be at a cost. The feature to "unprogram" all other fabs when I was trying to program the new fab was very scary since this would make the only key fab we had unusable. Fortunately this did not happen. I had to go on Reddit to find help on how to resolve the issue but if you are looking to program a key fab and perform diagnostics, this is probably not the tool for you. It's not as easy as what you would think.

The Autel KM100E is a robust tool for reprogramming keys and key fobs. It also has strong capabilities to view and modify vehicle Immobilizer systems. As with any tool, there are limitations to what it can do, but that's why this is one tool in your toolbox. The tool is easy to fast, use, is compatible with all kinds of vehicles, and walks you through a lot of the functions. However, if you run into a roadblock, look at YouTube videos to see if there is someone who has worked through that issue.

I'm a Locksmith and I have 5 different programmers for car keys and fobs. This seems to be a combination of all 5 so far. I'm still getting used to it but the day it came I programmed a 2022 Equinox using this and the universal remotes. It seems to have worked out quite nicely. I do a lot of vehicle keys and fobs. I also bought 4 of the Autel smart watches and ill give those a try. I was SO excited for this to come. The updates are free so no yearly fees. Hopefully that remains.... Autel hit a home run with this one. I hope it is all I hope for and can become my daily use machine. I'm happy I saw it and purchased it.
