Does not come with a US charger. Messaged the seller and they immediately responded with a resolution. So far have only had the unit about a week.. other than alot of set up, it's working great!

I recently purchased a Autel MaxiIM608 programming diagnostic tool. At first I was a bit skeptical since I had always used another brand. I was looking for a tool that would help diagnose and program ECU's as well as program todays modern key types, without breaking the bank. After doing a bit of research I decided to go ahead and purchase the Autel MaxiIM608 unit. To me the Autel meets all my needs and more. This Autel MaxiIM608 has the potential to be one of the best diagnostic tools on the market. It has currently helped me with GM and Ford key programming and Chrysler diagnostics. I am even starting to look into working on the European line. I feel I am just scratching the surface of what this Autel is capable of accomplishing. There are two things I feel that would make it better and that is possibly having access to in depth training videos and maybe improving the storage case to have actual hinges. Thanks Autel for another excellent product. Keep them coming.

The media could not be loaded. It is the second time that it happens to me in less than 6 months the transponder reader stops working therefore I cannot work with bmw for a few days I am waiting for the RGA and nothing even as it is possible that this function is damaged on the xp400 I have other much cheaper equipment that have years of exploitation and still work perfectly

I bought this tool for the sole purpose of autel advertising its use on the new sgm Chryslers. After contacting autel tech support due to this function not working, I was informed the product is not a North American tool and this function will never work. False advertising and deceptive practices at play here.

Even though it comes with the J2534 , it cannot code Benz and BMW ECU and SCN . you will need an MS908P or MX908P or Maxisys Elite. This is powerful but more for cutting keys. I recommend buying it if you need it for that reason. I only purchased the device because of the ECU / SCN coding after seeing in the description that it was capable of doing so . Upon trying it , it did not work and then the tech told me it was not possible on this model.

I dont like that it comes with an European style plug when sold in the U.S so I had to purchase another charger. It's a bit messy with the module selection, Meaning when you select a module so many options come up, If you dont know what your doing it might take awhile to figure out what module is on the car because the tool will tell you that module doesnt exist (no communication situations). Kinda suck to unplug the harness off the J-box and reconnect it everytime you need to use it. The storage box wont close with the cable attached.
