I got the MK900BT and so far it has been great. After running the software updates I have been able to diagnose and repair several of my vehicles for things that my old old code reader just wasn't up to. Having bi-directional control and the ability to read the modules in the vehicles allows me to test faults and make a real diagnosis rather than just throwing parts at the car based on a fault code. The Bluetooth dongle lets me take the tablet with me and test components in place without having to have another person with me. The battery life has been great, the screen is bright and clear, and I really like the hard case that has room for extra accessories. This is a great DIY level scan tool, and let's me get to the next level of keeping my families cars running well. It comes with a screen protector installed, charger, and case. I highly recommend it for the price, it gives you a ton of capability.

Really great scan tool! FAST! I use it for Automotive classes and it does everything I need to it! The Autel customer is also worth mentioning. They give clear answers and answer very quickly! I am super confident in this purchase!

If you don't mind working on your own vehicles to save money versus taking it to the repair shop and spending 10 times the cost to fix your vehicle. I recommend getting this scanner, I started with just a basic code scanner and upgraded to this one. This one has so many extra features other than just reading and clearing codes. It has a lot more functions that I'm sure will come in handy like programming an extra key fob, calibrating my steering wheel after a repair, resetting the TPMS sensors when they stop working just to name a few. I also purchased the MV108S MaxiVideo, BT506 car battery tester, and the OBD adapter kit to fit other vehicles without the OBD2 to go along with it although I do think the OBD kit should come with the tool but that's just me. But overall I would definitely recommend this scanner to anyone.

Tablet is 3 months old and unused it will not hold a charge for more than 3/4 hours. Its a decent scanner. Can be slow sometimes. Occasionally has trouble auto reading vins. I'd give it a 4 out of 5 if the battery wasn't giving me problems already. I reached out to autel , I will update my review after battery problem is addressed with autel.

I have had this scanner for about 5 months, but have only used it 5 or 6 times for code checking, data collecting, and performing cylinder cutouts. After the 4th use, the VCI kept loosing connection to the tablet and eventually it got hot and started to smell. I reached out to customer service and they provided step by step instructions on how to determine if the VCI was the issue. After completing the procedure, it was determined that the VCI was the problem and Autel shipped me a new one free of charge. With the new VCI, I was able to connect with the tablet and everything seems to work when connected to a vehicle. When performing a full vehicle scan, I have found codes in control units that never showed on other scanners I've used. The Auto VIN feature is really nice, and quick. I like the ability to link sessions to a repair order if needed, and being able to create a report is handy. The ability to add additional tools like a borescope or battery tester is pretty neat, and I hope to get those tools soon so that I can test them as well. One of my big hesitations when buying something like this online is support if something happens. At least with my experience, I would be comfortable buying more Autel equipment in the future. Overall, this tool isn't the cheapest, but does have a lot of features for a relatively low cost when compared to the more expensive options. Aside from my VCI issue, the scanner seems to be well built, has a nice weight to it, and the screen size makes it easy to see what I'm looking at.
