I bought this hoping to reset an airbag light that came on when the battery went flat in a 2007 Porsche 911. It did not detect the error and therefore could not reset it. Since then I have had other errors and cleared the codes including the P0021/22 codes. I think it’s good for general stuff but didn’t do everything I needed it to. The airbag light is still on. Maybe that’s more to do with the car - unclear. I have other cars so kept the unit in case I needed other functions again. Everything else is good and solid

This is an amazing tool! I had an airbag light on my project car, a 2000 Porsche Boxster. I figured it was either my seatbelt buckle or the seat wiring harness connector, two regular issues with these older cars. I cleaned and repaired both but needed a tool to reset the light, which was driving me nuts! I had taken it to my Porsche mechanic and he did not find a code to reset on his wazoo expensive reader. A member in a Boxster Facebook group I am in recommended this unit, so I bought it! Set up was easy and in about 3 minutes, the light has been reset! Best money I have ever spent. I highly recommend this tool!

The media could not be loaded. I purchased the Autel AL619 scanner because it has SRS scanning capabilities which decodes the Airbag Inflation system, unlike most of your typical OBDII scanners. For the same price it would have cost me to have a mechanic run their own scanner to diagnose my problem, I purchased my own scanner and quickly diagnosed a faulty airbag seat position sensor under my driver seat setting off my service airbag light. The scanner is fairly simple to use assuming it works for your vehicle. Make sure to verify its compatible before purchasing as I'm aware some newer vehicles do not work. As for the "Service Airbag" light on my 2012 Silverado 1500, this tool pinpointed the exact source of my problem and had it fixed within minutes! Very pleased with my purchase and a quality addition to my garage workshop. UPDATE!!! I changed my rating from 5 stars to 3 due to the amount of battery consumption this scanner uses. Less than 5 minutes of scanning completely drained two perfectly good truck batteries to the point the dome lights wouldn't even turn on. This happened on two different trucks within just minutes. I don't know if it's a defective unit, but I must now keep the vehicle running in order to use it. Besides the battery draining issue, the scanner works well for my needs.

Contacted them to confirm it would be compatible with a Volvo to reset an SRS message (I tripped a monitor by disconnecting wires from the radio and climatisation without first disconnecting the battery). Quick response, quick delivery, easy to fix with the reset function. Highly recommended. Must have tool if you fiddle with your vehicle from time to time.
