Description

The Atrix Omega Plus H14 ULPA (Ultra Low Penetration Air) vacuum VACOMEGAU is an excellent immediate containment option for glove bag, abatement, and hazardous particulate applications. This ULPA vacuum offers self-storage and contained accessories, 1,000 hour rated Ametek Advantek II motor, and 10' detachable power cord. The one-gallon ULPA filter is 99.999% efficient at .12 micron and includes three layers of 56 pleat media. The three layers consist of one cellulose layer and two glass layers. This vacuum includes hose and filter plugs so no debris spills out during transport or storage. The tool box structure and self-contained accessories makes this vacuum convenient for mobile technicians.

You just open it, remove the plug, attach the hose and whatever attachment you need to use, close the lid and you are ready to go. The attachments are perfect for hard to reach or tight spaces, plus they are designed exactly for cleaning contaminated areas. The noise level is loud, but at the same time it is not louder than any other typical vacuum or shop vac. It has a carrying handle and an arm strap so although it is a bit boxy, it is easy to move along with you as you do your work. Clever design, almost perfect for my needs, but kind of outdated. I needed a compact certified HEPA vacuum with adequate suction. I looked at several known brands, until I stumbled across this model purely by chance. Overall I would recommend it to anyone who wants a legit HEPA/ULPA vacuum that would allow picking up debris you would not want to come in contact with due to its instant seal design. This unit was incredibly easy to set up. I have it sitting under my desk for all the sanding I do with resin. This way I can control the toxic dust by placing the tube underneath my project that’s being sanded. I love it as it doesn’t just look like a vacuum sitting under my desk. Turned out not needing it but after months of research i decided to keep it because you can not find a vacuum that filters down below 0.3 micron in the residential world. This is a 1.7 micron filter so i will add it to the empire of dirt for future use.
