The Atrix Ergo Pro Backpack Vacuum VACBPAI is an excellent vacuum for janitorial/sanitation, contract cleaning, offices, warehouses, stairs, ceilings, entryways, ledges, and lobby furniture. The VACBPAI has four levels of filtration which consists of an eight quart HEPA bag, cloth shake out bag, HEPA premotor filter, and an exhaust filter. The VACBPAI is ergonomic, lightweight, and low profile making it comfortable for the professional cleaner to wear for a long durations of time. It has 1,400-watt cleaning power which produces 106 CFM, and includes industry standard 1.5” diameter vacuum hose and accessories. This product should not be used for hazardous particulate. I have a large house, and it's great to just suit up and GO. I can reach all of my house with one 50-foot extension cord from a centrally-located outlet. There's a slight learning curve about how to avoid bonking into walls, door jambs etc but you learn fast (!). It's not good for spot cleaning, as it's a production to get the cord rolled out, get the thing mounted, etc and the hose is no longer than you can use with the pack on your back. But for cleaning the whole house in one fell swoop it's really great! Not super powerful, but I find it's not an issue, it really cleans fine and is pretty quiet. The vacuum is powerful and has quite a few useful attachments. I use it for furniture, blinds and vacuuming my car upholstery. Disposable bags are easy in and out. I do wish it came with a bracket on wheels however

Very easy to use, my one issue is in small spaces it can be a bit of a pain to maneuver. Also, I highly suggest the powered head attachment. 50FT cord for most businesses and some residential, seems to be the perfect length. I purchased the Atrix carrying bag and so far, I put it in the bag took it to my first contract and haven't used it since its more of a pain to get in and out than it's worth. and the quality seems to be lacking a bit, the zipper feels cheap, so i might be returning it and swapping it out for more bags, or an adjustable wand. If i could give one recommendation to Atrix it would be to offer either the extendable wand or the 2-piece wand. ... show more

I just received my Ergo and wow... for $100 more for this 'Pro' version, there's no handle as there is for the lower end model??? Seriously? Can someone explain this to me? Not only that, how do you connect the accessories? To me the directions are absolutely useless. If I could give a 0 rating, at this point I would. This was a good intro to backpack vacuums. I mostly clean residential homes but recently started a small-ish apartment complex. That means low pile carpets and lots of stairs. At first I really liked this vacuum. However, the cons started to bug me so much I ended up returning it. Primarily, the bottom half of the wand clips in with a little button. That little button doesn't fully pop out when clipped so the bottom half turns itself around constantly while I'm vacuuming which is really annoying to have to fiddle with. Also I don't know that the suction is adjustable which on carpeting is necessary. For a homeowner or even a professional cleaner with a few small houses I'd say this is great. Incredibly comfortable on your back (I'm 5'2) and suction is good. But for larger jobs, spring for the bigger name. ... show more
