  • Absolutely LOVE 😍
Style: Premium Bundle Backpack Vacuum
Absolutely LOVE this vacuum!!! It works so well for us. We have pet and dust allergies in our home but have 12 animals (4 dogs, 8 cats) and the filtration does amazing! Love the backpack feature, makes it so easy for me to walk around a 2500 sqft home. Haven’t found a good way to store it yet but I don’t care cause it works so well. I wish I’d bought this a long time ago! ... show more

  • You MUST have an extension cord
Style: Standard Bundle Backpack Vacuum
I upgraded to this from a Hoover Portapower. The suction is great, and the weight is manageable. The only drawback so far is that it’s bulky to store anywhere (and especially in a car like I do for my business). NOTE: they don’t tell you here that you MUST use an extension cord, the one on the machine is only about a foot This works for me bc I need a 50 foot cord. Without any type of extension cord it’s unusable. ... show more

  • OMG! This thing is simply amazing!
Style: Standard Bundle Backpack Vacuum
My new backpack vacuum just arrived and I've just cleaned house with it and it is absolutely fantastic! I just moved across the country and needed a new vacuum and was torn as to whether to get an upright or a canister. I lean toward canisters because it's easier to get under stuff and I don't ever have wall to wall carpeting. But I do have oriental rugs and canisters usually either have very poor carpet attachments, no carpet attachments, or ones that are so clunky and difficult to use with elaborate wiring systems going up the wand etc. that they end up breaking down early on. So I was surfing through all the Amazon vacuums trying to decide what to do, when I came across backpack ones. There were several brands, some very high end and many were really heavy (I'm not a big person and I'm getting pretty old too. heh). I ended up picking this one because it was the lowest weight one in the mid-range price. Along with it, I ordered a long extension cord and extra bags. (I noticed all backpack vacuums come with a short cord, which makes sense because everyone has different cord length needs depending on their needs. This way the extension cord can be anchored right on the vaccum) Anyway, long story short, I got the straps adjusted, read the manual, put it on and gave it a test run, and it was simply amazing! With it on my back, there are no worries about dragging a canister around furniture or the hose getting pulled out from hanging up on something. You have to sort of keep an eye on where you are dragging the cord so as not to get all tangled, but it was no problem. And the vacuum really SUCKS! A LOT! In anything else, that is a bad point, but in a vacuum, it's the most important feature, right? Here are the things I like best about this vacuum: 1) Good suction. Seems to have a lot of power. 2) weight is nice and low. It was very comfortable on my back and I'm an old lady, so I think anyone would not find this difficult weightwise. 3) Construction. It seems really durable. The wand is solid metal and the hose and hose handle are very nicely designed and seem more substantial than other vacuums. The case is plastic but thick enough to be very durable. It just seems very well built for the price. The backpack frame is light but durable and well shaped for comfort. 4) Toolbelt. One of the things I have always hated about most canisters is the tool attachment holders are always awful and you go to get your crevis tool to get beside the fridge and find it fell off somewhere back in one of the bedrooms. Well, that problem is OVER with this thing. Part of the backpack strapping stuff is a very nicely padded wide waist belt, and on the front of it are loops to hold your attachments. When you need one, it's right there in front of you! 5) Rug/carpet attachment. I am extremely impressed with this. It is not electrified but it DOES have beaters that are run by the suction power. Very clever! It does a beautiful job on my large and small area oriental rugs and I think it would work on carpeting as well as any upright! 6) loop to keep your extension cord from unplugging. A nice feature! All in all, I could find nothing wrong with this machine. The bags and filters seem easy to change/clean and the dirt-bag is as big as in many canisters. (I don't imagine you'd want too big a bag as that would be added weight). There is an added "shake out" bag that is washable, and a very nice Washable HEPA filter underneath it directly protecting the motor. There is also a washable intake filter on the outside which also protects the motor. ... show more

  • Love this vacuum!
Style: Standard Bundle Backpack Vacuum
I'm a housecleaner and have multiple vacuums but was hoping to find one with truly amazing suction. This is it, the best vacuum I own now, and I've tried many. The price is also extremely reasonable for its quality! When vacuuming carpet, I can actually see the carpet lift a bit and I'm never needing to go back and forth over the same area. It picks up everything on one pass. It sucks up everything and works well on both carpet and tile. The backpack also seems to be designed better than my other backpack vacuum. It is the exact same weight, yet feels so much more comfortable. It also comes with a bunch of attachments for a variety of jobs. Would highly recommend. ... show more

  • Poor design/functionality
Style: Premium Bundle Backpack Vacuum
I had high expectations for this vacuum, but it’s shockingly poor in both design and functionality. First, the power cord is only about 1.5 feet long — essentially unusable without purchasing a separate extension cord. And not just any cord — it requires one with specific amps, which costs at least $50. That’s on top of the $200 already spent on the vacuum. Even after investing more money just to power it, the user experience is frustrating. The vacuum is awkward and restrictive to use. It doesn’t stand upright on its own, so even something simple like untangling the cord means removing the backpack and setting the attachments down just to free up your hands. And then there’s the extension cord itself — it drags behind you the entire time, picking up dirt, dust, and pet hair and spreading it around as you move. It actively works against the whole point of vacuuming. To make matters worse, the attachments don’t perform well on various rugs or carpets, rendering them nearly useless for the most common surfaces in a home. After struggling with it, I gave up and returned it — and reluctantly went back to my Shark vacuum. Major letdown. ... show more
