  • Powerful, Lightweight, and Surprisingly Quiet — A Cleaning Pro’s Best Friend
Size: Standard Bundle
The Atrix HEPA Backpack Vacuum has completely changed the way I clean—especially in tight or high-traffic areas. As someone who regularly tackles stairs, office spaces, and commercial jobs, this backpack-style vacuum is a game changer. First off, it’s lightweight and very comfortable to wear. The padded shoulder and waist straps help distribute the weight, so it doesn’t strain your back, even after extended use. It takes a couple of uses to adjust to having a vacuum on your back, but once you do, it’s far more efficient than dragging around a bulky upright or canister. Suction power is impressive for its size—plenty strong for dust, dirt, pet hair, and even fine debris like drywall dust. The included attachments are super versatile, letting me clean blinds, vents, baseboards, and even car interiors. And because it uses HEPA filtration, it traps allergens and fine dust, making it great for homes with pets or allergy sufferers. It’s also quieter than expected—a huge plus when working in shared spaces or during business hours. ... show more

  • OMG! This thing is simply amazing!
Size: Standard Bundle
My new backpack vacuum just arrived and I've just cleaned house with it and it is absolutely fantastic! I just moved across the country and needed a new vacuum and was torn as to whether to get an upright or a canister. I lean toward canisters because it's easier to get under stuff and I don't ever have wall to wall carpeting. But I do have oriental rugs and canisters usually either have very poor carpet attachments, no carpet attachments, or ones that are so clunky and difficult to use with elaborate wiring systems going up the wand etc. that they end up breaking down early on. So I was surfing through all the Amazon vacuums trying to decide what to do, when I came across backpack ones. There were several brands, some very high end and many were really heavy (I'm not a big person and I'm getting pretty old too. heh). I ended up picking this one because it was the lowest weight one in the mid-range price. Along with it, I ordered a long extension cord and extra bags. (I noticed all backpack vacuums come with a short cord, which makes sense because everyone has different cord length needs depending on their needs. This way the extension cord can be anchored right on the vaccum) Anyway, long story short, I got the straps adjusted, read the manual, put it on and gave it a test run, and it was simply amazing! With it on my back, there are no worries about dragging a canister around furniture or the hose getting pulled out from hanging up on something. You have to sort of keep an eye on where you are dragging the cord so as not to get all tangled, but it was no problem. And the vacuum really SUCKS! A LOT! In anything else, that is a bad point, but in a vacuum, it's the most important feature, right? Here are the things I like best about this vacuum: 1) Good suction. Seems to have a lot of power. 2) weight is nice and low. It was very comfortable on my back and I'm an old lady, so I think anyone would not find this difficult weightwise. 3) Construction. It seems really durable. The wand is solid metal and the hose and hose handle are very nicely designed and seem more substantial than other vacuums. The case is plastic but thick enough to be very durable. It just seems very well built for the price. The backpack frame is light but durable and well shaped for comfort. 4) Toolbelt. One of the things I have always hated about most canisters is the tool attachment holders are always awful and you go to get your crevis tool to get beside the fridge and find it fell off somewhere back in one of the bedrooms. Well, that problem is OVER with this thing. Part of the backpack strapping stuff is a very nicely padded wide waist belt, and on the front of it are loops to hold your attachments. When you need one, it's right there in front of you! 5) Rug/carpet attachment. I am extremely impressed with this. It is not electrified but it DOES have beaters that are run by the suction power. Very clever! It does a beautiful job on my large and small area oriental rugs and I think it would work on carpeting as well as any upright! 6) loop to keep your extension cord from unplugging. A nice feature! All in all, I could find nothing wrong with this machine. The bags and filters seem easy to change/clean and the dirt-bag is as big as in many canisters. (I don't imagine you'd want too big a bag as that would be added weight). There is an added "shake out" bag that is washable, and a very nice Washable HEPA filter underneath it directly protecting the motor. There is also a washable intake filter on the outside which also protects the motor. ... show more

  • Still Going Strong After a Year – Great Vacuum with One Flaw
Size: Standard Bundle
I’ve had this backpack vacuum for about a year now and it’s been a solid investment. It’s lightweight and super easy to carry around, which makes cleaning large areas or stairs way less of a hassle. The suction is still powerful after a year of use, and everything feels durable—no frayed wires, nothing broken (except one thing, which I’ll get to). I really like the retractable hose—it gives good reach and stores neatly. The only issue I had was with the rolling head attachment, which broke within the first couple of months. That was a bit of a letdown, but the vacuum itself still works great without it. Overall, if you’re looking for a reliable, lightweight backpack vacuum with strong suction, this one’s a great choice. Just be aware the attachments might not be as tough as the vacuum itself. ... show more

  • Great Vacuum Cleaner!!! But if you value your life, you'd also buy an extension cord.
Size: Standard Bundle
I literally had to write about something for hw, and I spoke about this. I will just copy-paste it. I am a very short girl. And there are times I wish I was shorter. I really like being short! However, there are things that make me wish I was taller. One of those things is our carpet vacuum cleaner. It belongs to my sister, and we all share this one vacuum cleaner. We all also seem to want to use it at the same time... Everyone in the house is growing taller than me, so I get tease for my height. It seems the vacuum cleaner likes poking fun too because I have to hold it at a very uncomfortable angle. I decided to find something that would work for me, but that was also powerful. I didn't want a flimsy vacuum. I found the perfect vacuum. I can wear it on my back, and it isn't heavy at all. And it's at a comfortable angle. I also can turn it off with my other hand without bending down. I feel like Luigi with it on. It's a great vacuum! What's great about it is that, if my bf uses it, it will be a comfortable length, and it extends. It also comes with a bag. So I don't have to worry about dust and other things flying around when cleaning it out. And nobody else in the house wants to use it because it's different. So it all works out for me. ----------------- Pros: - You get to feel like Luigi. - You got a great vacuum cleaner - It sucks and blows (wink wonk) - It extends - you control how hard you want it to suck - clean up isn't a bitch. It's really easy. - Chores become fun - You can't trip on the cord. You just can't. Unless you are a baby. Cons: - WHAT IS THIS LITTLE BABY CORD?! LOL! - You NEED an extension cord. The one with the 2 bars and the circle at the bottom. ('.') <-- Like that I guess. But it's a circle at the bottom. (I went to look for one, and I saw there were different kinds.) ... show more

  • Works great!
Size: Standard Bundle
I got tired of always dragging my Fein 8 gallon vacuum around when doing final clean up after a renovation at a customer's house. I needed a vacuum that I didn't have to constantly drag around with me or get stuck around corners when pulling it or worse yet, have the wheels scratch the floor. I decided with this Atrix model and I'm glad I did. It is much cheaper than the other brands I looked at, but so far I have used it on 3 remodels for picking up the fine dust and it is perfect. The two floor brushes operate with ease and the dust brush handles all of the small areas really well. I didnt need the other attachments they sent, but they seemed well made. Even when the dust bags are full there is still good suction coming from the machine. That surprised me. Also, the sound really isn't bad at all since it is so close to your ears. I always wear hearing protection with my tools and I thought with the motor being so close to my head I would have to, but I haven't yet. The bags aren't that expensive to buy and they handle drywall dust as well. My only problem is that the straps keep coming loose. I solved this by sewing them permanently since I'm the only person using this vacuum. If you are in the trades and need a quality vacuum that can pick up fine dust and is easy to maneuver around a customer's house then I highly recommend this powerful and easy to use unit. ... show more

  • Keep Looking!
Size: Standard Bundle
I do NOT recommend! I did not use this vacuum upon first arrival so some time had passed. My first experience using the vacuum I thought maybe I missed an instruction and connected something wrong because the suction wasn’t strong with the attachments connected. However, after rereading the instructions and using the vacuum several more times on commercial and residential spaces, the suction is weak with the flat vacuum attachment. It works like a charm if you need it just for the hose. Most disappointing purchase for the money. ... show more

  • Love this vacuum cleaner and the price is great
Size: Standard Bundle
I've been wanting a backpack vacuum for awhile and finally made the purchase after getting 2 cats, and I am very glad that I did. This vacuum has powerful suction and lots of accessories that work very well, and having the backpack makes vacuuming around furniture and the gauntlet of cat toys easy. The quality feels very durable to me, and I like that the telescoping wand is metal (not plastic) and very sturdy. I use the self-powered "turbo brush" floor tool to clean 1000 sq ft of hard floors (wood, pergo, and vinyl), 400 sq ft of berber carpeting, and two low-pile area rugs, and this vacuum does a fantastic job picking up everything including lots of cat hair and litter. And the vacuum does pick up in both directions, I usually do push and pull over same area due to all the cat hair/litter, but I can see the vacuum picking up in both directions. The width of the "turbo brush" floor tool is perfect for getting between and under furniture, and I no longer have to move any furniture when vacuuming - it's just small enough to fit everywhere and the "neck" that attaches to the wand turns 360 degrees so I can twist it sideways and get it under cabinets. An unexpected bonus for me is that this vacuum does a GREAT job dusting my wood furniture when I use the small rectangular attachment (not the dusting brush tool) - it gets up all the cat hair (in addition to the dust) very quickly. I also love that it has a stable base and a carry-handle on top so if I need to do a quick pick-up in one spot, I just carry it over rather that put on my back and it stays in place. I was a little nervous about the weight, but I have not had any problems wearing it for the 45 mins I usually spend cleaning (I am a 5'4" woman and reasonably fit). It does blow warm/hot air out the side, but I consider this a non-issue because it's no hotter than my previous upright vacuum and far easier and quicker to use. To me, the only negative to this vacuum cleaner is that it makes vacuuming and dusting so easy that I have no excuse not to do them. ... show more

  • Powerful. and overall value is excellent. **Edit a week later!
Size: Standard Bundle
I'm a professional cleaner. Overall this vacuum is really good. It took a little adjusting to, but I've decided the adjustment in my routine is worth it. As a professional cleaner, I've established a routine of doing one room at a time (I used a higher end upright). This vacuum is best used doing an entire floor at a time. In this way, you can save a LOT of time. So much time, in fact, I'm raising my rates. It's very powerful, and its set up makes it so that once I put it on, I do a LOT less bending and reaching, and I can do all floors, baseboards, under beds, ceiling fans, window sills, blinds, hard to reach stuff, etc... MUCH easier. An upright, even the best ones, sometimes has the tendency to throw dirt while vacuuming, making it necessary to go over an area again. This vacuum doesn't do this. Plus, I can move really fast and it picks up everything the first swipe. The only thing I wish it had is an electric motorized carpet attachment. The carpet attachment spins by the power of the vacuum, rather than being self powered. In some ways, this is good because if you catch the edge of an expensive area rug, it simply stops, thereby preventing damage. So, it's a gentler vacuum on high end materials. However, it's not super great on standard living room carpet because it doesn't agitate very deeply. But my clients are all high end with mostly hard surface flooring, and they don't need deep agitation. Plus, some of my clients have woven carpets that can't have agitation at all, so again.. in this respect, it's the best tool for the job. The other thing that took a bit of getting used to was the fact that the vacuum is awkward when going up narrow stairs... as is the case for many homes in urban areas where the home has multiple floors, but is narrow. I found myself hitting the wall and leaving black marks on my clients paint from the vacuum. I've adjusted the way I move, and I think I'm figuring out how best practices. Another note... The vacuum can be set on the floor to do an area as the hose is long enough to do this. Overall, the vacuum is really a great design and very powerful. It just takes a little getting used to how you move when in smaller areas. It also looks cool. I like that the client can't see the dirt like the popular clear cannisters. No one needs to see that! Lol. ***EDIT: Cleaning out the bag makes this not worth it to me any longer. The bag hole is very narrow, which means NOTHING comes out by "shaking it." I have to grab the stuff by hand and pull it out. Everything I just picked up off a clients floor, ... I put my hands in!! YUCK!! But of course, my return window closed yesterday. ... show more
