At first glance it's a nice box. As soon as I put my sub into the box.. hit play I heard air and not just from the port! I could feel it coming from the side so I cut the carpet and huge gap was there. Checked the other side.. same thing. For the price it's not worth it. I tried to contact atrend before this review however they never responded to me. Waste of almost $80 I guess I'll just have to try and seal it up and try and use it. Perfect fit and size for my 12" Kicker CompRT 2 ohm. and now that I have it installed in my car and bridged down to 1 ohm to my Pioneer GM-D8601, the sound is amazing. it hits so hard in this box. I did use some polyfoam inside this box. the convenience of the external speaker connection, makes it easy to remove and install in seconds. I used some L- brackets I had from my previous Pioneer down-firing sub to adapt on this box. it holds it in place nicely. would definitely recommend for a space saver and to be stealthy because all you see is a back box. ... show more
