I've tried a few different strings with my Greenworks edger/weed wacker. These did not break off like some have in the past which causes me to stop and take the reel out and get it back thru the hole. Also it seems to feed where others have failed in that also. Therefore, I am pleased that I made it through all my edging last night without any stopping to deal with string issues. Will stick with this item when I need more. ... show more

Very happy with the product - it was exactly what I was looking for once I ran out of the original Spool that came with the Greenworks Trimmer. I did buy a set from Greenworks which was not of the same quality that came originally. I then tried another product which was worse. This set seems good so far, and is a steal with the price. Amazon also did a good job of shipping within the promised time. Sometimes the spool do unwind and I have to open and re-wind it, but in general does the work pretty well. ... show more

Not sure I would buy these again. I received several defective reels within the package that tried to use. Perhaps that is why these were significantly less expensive than other sellers. If I get more bad reels will definitely not be worth it.

Unfortunately, just finding out NOW, many months after purchase, that the 6 spools and cap I bought to go with the string trimmer DO NOT FIT. Seriously, how can they sell the wrong size spools when it comes up asking if you want to buy with this item? Ridiculous. The string trimmer is not much good either. I had a gas trimmer that had string on two sides. When it would break it was a 10 minute process to get it going again. The Greenworks trimmer string is a bit pricey, but worth every penny when needing to install new string. I am happy with the trimmer and string system.
