Solid construction. The end of the rod doesn't warp when you beat on it with a heavy hammer like the cheap ones do. Was able to remove ball joints and tie rod ends easily with this.

This set appears to be a good, small packaged set of pickle forks and easily stored away and a good value for the money. Once assembled and tightened up, the assembly was solid and worked well.     • Looks good make sure lockout is tight
It's not as good as I'd hoped but with the help of a 5 lb maul it did the trick on a 2006 gmc sierrs 1500 4x4 upper and lower ball joints price was good and the tool didn't break , so normal complaint.

I had a very seized ball joint stuck on a 20 year old car. Wound up buying this set because I couldn’t get them free. This wasn’t the miracle tool, it didn’t instantly get the ball joint free, but they are very durable and were able to handle a lot of hammering and force to eventually break the ball joint free of the steering knuckle. Used it over the weekend it did the job. For the money it is worth it. Maybe not for a everyday use but for those once in a while jobs i recommend it.

    • Get what you pay for.
Decent, doesn't work on a lot of things, haven't found ball joint that it works on yet. Not great, but on somethings ok. Once hammered, hard to get apart, forks deform fairly easily. Get what you pay for.

Had to replace the steering stabilizer on my F-250. The old did NOT want to go. This did the trick and separated it from the control arm without a problem.
