I absolutely love this metal detector that I ordered off of Amazon as you know, they’re always pros and cons to every product. I will say this, no matter how many times I read the directions that came with this metal detector. It still has issues with the functionality settings in terms of the sensitivity to What metal you’re finding in the ground and changing the settings. It will often ping that I have found silver or jewelry or money and in reality it’s a rusty piece of metal or a bottle cap. The functionality settings are not 100% accurate. In fact I would almost say the functionality settings are never accurate. It doesn’t actually know What I’m finding at all. It will often ping silver when I have found a pop tab or it’ll ping jewelry and I will have found an action figure in the ground so something to be said is that you do get what you pay for and go to a local dealership that sells metal detectors because you’re gonna get a better quality one, but you do get what you pay for all in all. It’s a good product compared to the national geographic metal detector for kids which I also bought on here All in all it’s a good product. I thought the price was high for the amount of problems that came with this product, but I still buy it again. No, I would probably invest in a different brand, but I would also do more more research as well. I would, however, consider buying in the future if the functionality settings were fixed to be more accurate

I did some research on metal detectors and was impressed by the reviews I found on this one. It was on sale on Amazon, so I bought it, and I am glad I did! It is well made, and I really like these features: The screen displays what type of metal it detects, along with whether or not it may be a coin and what type. It also shows approximate depth and gives a percentile estimation of accuracy. The screen is easy to read during the day and has a nice backlight that can be turned on in the dark. It has PP functionality, which is very useful in pinpointing items found. So far, it has been very accurate. My family has lived on the property I now own for over 100 years, on which I have found two keys, a large pin, can opener and a few old coins so far as well as a very old toy pop gun that my uncles played with. My only complaint is that my arm gets tired holding it and swinging it back and forth, but this has been a problem with every metal detector I have tried. It is very light, so it's not too much of an issue. All-in-all, this is the best one I have used.

I wasn’t very impressed have used many different ones of brands and the reliability was just not what I expected. For a beginner I think this would make a great product but for a more advanced person who has been detecting and is looking for something different this may not be the product for you.

First one didn't work, wouldn't power on. Exchanged for another. Made the mistake of not returning second one because this one won't turn on after a couple of months.

I was very excited to finally get a metal detector that is friendly to use. I only have one problem now and that is the amount of holes I have in my yard. Really great activity to do with my husband. What a great tool to get us out and doing things. Reduces stress, anxiety and promotes exercise, excitement and bonding with your loved one. Also can increase your money in your pocket if you find something of value.

I wanted to get a cheaper metal detector for my son to be able to join me on my treasure hunts. This one seemed like a good price point for what we were after. We assembled it easily and I was impressed with the amount of adjustment available- so my son was able to comfortably use this. We haven't used the headphones yet, but they could come in handy if you're in a loud area so you can better hear the different tones of the detector. We really like the compact shovel/pick-axe which is super nice for getting down to the hidden treasures. The picture readout is very nice and something my other detector lacks. It helps to know how excited to get when you hover over something. Overall we've been really impressed with this detector. My other detector eats through the 9v batteries so time will tell if this one does too.
