It is a very pretty necklace, however, it tarnishes terribly. I bought this as an everyday necklace and it is definitely not that. Very disappointed with how quickly the plating came off both the necklace and cross. In today's world, where everyone offers tarnish free, sweat proof and water proof jewelry on this point, Kendra Scott needs to figure this out. I have shown the discoloration only after a few months of wearing this piece. Also shown with one of my real gold necklaces so you can see the difference; when new, the colors were the same!
