I don't typically purchase protection plans but since this was a large purchase I decided it might be worth the additional expense. I am so thankful I did! The printer I purchased stopped working. I filed the claim with Asurion, which was a simple process. They mailed me a box with a return label and packing materials. Once they determined that the printer could not be repaired they promptly issued a full credit. The protection plan was definitely worth the investment.

When I went through Asurion's warranty process last year they sent me a physical check in the mail, which had a processing error that took around 5-6 weeks for me to finally get it. They finally made the switch to a digital gift card. Made the process so much smoother and faster. Definitely recommend for any tech products.

Bought the plan when we purchased an "office" all-in-one (Brother for office). It broke and since this is a "commercial" business, they would not honor the protection plan. Said they would "refund" me, but over a week later, I still have no refund. The verbiage that they do not cover commercial businesses is buried in the small print (had to search for it).

Good coverage but you have to send it back to them to collect. I bought the 4 year for a 24" plotter and shipping the unit back [Asurion paid shipping] was a challenge w/o original packaging. Next time I will keep the packaging!

My Fujitsu scanner broke down a year ago and they promptly handled my claim and returned the product in few days. It broke agin and promptly refunded I will not by any equipment without Asurion warranty

The repair review process took longer than expected however once it was determined they couldn’t repair my printer, the refund was quick (Amazon gift card)
