Very painless replacement of my broken PS5 controller. No grilling you and making it seem like you are the bad guy for trying to replace the thing. I tend to be skeptical when it comes to these proteciton/warranty type of plans, but this one was well worth it. Would buy again.

I normally don't buy extended warranties because I feel like they are a losing bet and I don't trust that the providers will follow through like I would expect them to. In this case, however, I was able to purchase an international version of the earbuds that I wanted (for some reason, the international version has only a 30-day warranty) plus the Asurion 3-year warranty for less than the price of the US version that had a 1-year warranty. I honestly was not expecting to need the warranty on a new product from a reputable name brand but I wasn't comfortable with just 30 days warranty. The coverage advertised by Asurion was more comprehensive than the manufacturer's warranty so I went ahead and bought it. One of the earbuds failed in less than a year. I followed the instructions sent in the email to file a claim online. I ended up having to use the chat feature to finish my claim, but it was the quickest, most responsive online chat help I have ever experienced. After getting a little bit of information, my claim was handled quickly. Instructions were clear on what to do next and everything was easy. No hassle, no run-around, no weird fine print hoops to jump through. I got a full refund of the price I paid for the buds and was able to get a new replacement pair.

I actually forgot that I had purchased this plan with my Fitbit, so when the device died of an overheated battery while charging exactly 3 weeks after it was out of the manufacturer warranty, I complained directly to Fitbit. I knew they had a history of battery problems and had extended warranty periods in the past because of it. After a week of runaround, they decided that it was out of warranty, but that they would give me a discount if I bought a new device directly from their store. Months later I realized I had purchased this 3-year plan from Amazon with the original Fitbit, so I decided to turn in the claim on the fried device. I went to the website stipulated, logged in, saw the plan for the device, and tried to place the claim. The site just froze up and "spun" for like 10 minutes before I tried closing it out and starting over. When I went back to the site to start the process again, the plan/device I needed to claim was no longer showing up in the account. I went through a bunch of windows before it finally gave me a phone number to call. I called that number, went through several automated prompts telling me to use the website, and finally got to a human Representative. Then I was told I had called the wrong number since I bought my device and plan through Amazon, and that they would transfer me. Got transferred to a number that thought I was calling from the other 800-number, so it couldn't find my account. Finally got to another human Representative, who eventually could see the plan that was no longer visible to me on my account. I told her what happened with the fried Fitbit, she placed the claim, and emailed me a mailing label to send the dead device to them. It took me a few days to find a box to ship it in and print out the label, but once they had notification that UPS had picked up the package, I was emailed an Amazon gift card claim code for the purchase price of my device. I didn't even have to wait for them to receive the package. So yes, it's a good plan, and well worth the relatively small price I paid for it, but I knocked off a star because I shouldn't have had to go to such lengths to place the claim.

Asurion honors the protection plan. Unfortinately, I had an accident with a device under this warranty, and the process was very straightforward and easy to file the claim. I wish other companies made it this simple. Great job, and highly recommend!

I began purchasing the extend warranty offer when I bought my son a new cellphone last year. When his cellphone went south and became unusable, I contacted ASURION . It’s was great ! They had a record of all my active warranties, which meant I don’t have to keep up with a bunch of papers and receipts! ~The customer service was great,. ~they sent us a new phone Hassle FREE! ~I still have 2 years of coverage remaining . Based on this one Great experience: I now spend the extra money for the extended warranty on the majority of my electronic purchases..It’s so worthwhile. And I know I won’t have to spend another $50+ on the exact same item for at least 3 years! I work very hard for my money and there’s nothing I despise more than; saving to buy something and have it brake 5 days after warranty expires! The original warranty with electronic is vague and often hard to get manufacturers to hold up there end . Then they tell me to take it to authorize service center...they definitely dont want to replace their defective product. I truly think the asurion warranty is worth every penny ~! No hassle help when my stuff breaks! I really tell my family to always get this warranty if it’s available. It’s saved me lots of headaches and nasty emails to electronic manufacturing warranty departments! I hope this info is helpful, I’ve had Nothing but good experience with My warranty purchase/.
