I’m a claims adjuster I climb on roofs for a living & have to take a lot of pics with 1 hand so the pop socket is very convenient. IPhones cost too much money to be dropping them from the roof top lol this is a GOOD product and I honestly can’t believe the price for this type of case. Cases like these inside the Apple store will cost you at least $60. I did pair it with a glass protector but I honestly do think if I dropped my phone from a roof, I’d be surprised if it broke. ... show more

I love the two Otter Box cases I purchased for my phones. I regret not buying them in the first place. They truly are designed well and feel very sturdy. I love the layers used for protection and believe my phones will have a much better chance of survival if I ever drop them. I realized there are times I have to pay a bit more to insure the best protection, and it is worth it. Amazon's price here was super compared to the Otter website. I went through two phone cases before finally landing on this OtterBox + Pop Defender Series case, and I wish I could go back in time and just start with this one. The other two were so slippery, and I was dropping my phone left and right! This case's silicone exterior has a textured feel, which means it is so much easier to hold, and the built-in pop socket helps the phone stay securely in my hand while reducing the effects of constant phone use on my wrists and hands. I went with the blue case because it was $10 cheaper than the black, and although it's not my favorite color for a phone case, it is subtle and doesn't draw attention. With my old case, the barriers that were supposed to protect the screen from breaking when dropped were completely ineffective and resulted with a cracked screen, but with the new OtterBox, I am very confident that there is enough of a barrier to protect the corners of my screen in case I or one of my kids drops my phone. As I continue to upgrade phones, I will be using this Defender Series with the pop socket every time. ... show more

I saw some people say that it will not fit their phone. It fits, you just have to take it apart and put it back on the phone in pieces. The box doesn't come with instructions, I had to look up a video online. I would probably keep it but it's just too bulky and uncomfortable for me, and the popsocket will not hold the phone up because it is heavy and imbalanced.
