One of our products stopped working. Pictures were sent and a note. We were refunded for the purchase price of the product. Was very simple to use the app. Response was quick. If you have a more expensive product I highly recommend Asurion.

Asurian warranty is a must have for anybody that buys on Amazon. We use Amazon instead of other sources because with the Asurion warranty, our purchases are protected for a lifetime with the monthly protection plan. We have sent some items back for repair and some items for replacement and they stay in touch and do what they promise. ... show more

This is an awful service.... they try to find any reason possible not to help you with your items. They're also very difficult to get a hold of. I paid for almost a year of the service and tried to file two claims that I couldn't get any help with. Based on the some of the positive reviews, they have helped some folks, but if it weren't for that, I'd say this was some sort of scam. Save your money...this will not be worth it. ... show more

My past experience with Asurion has been exceptional. I ordered the protection for another product that I purchased via Amazon, it was for a device that I got for my young kids -- lo and behold, they accidentally break it. the claim submission process is straightforward. you just enter in the amazon order number for the device in question. they will send you a mailer box, all expense paid. The communication during the repair process is very good, they will update you either via text, email, or even call you if they require action from you. I had the option to get a complete replacement of the device because the repair process was taking longer than usual. but luckily they were able to get the product repaired and shipped back to me. The best part of it, even after my first experience, I am STILL covered for the entire 3 years! The kids broke it a second time, and I went through the process again with Asurion, painless as ever. Especially if you are someone that is a bit accident prone, or if you have kids that will be using the product, or you just want to have that extra assurance, I highly recommend this. ... show more

I purchased a $600 Chinese Android head unit that had mostly good reviews. But the bad were really bad. 3 weeks after install it was a brick. No warranty and very little and poor support from the manufacturer. Made my claim with Asurion, uninstalled the head unit, and shipped it off. They could not fix the unit.
