They are true to their word. They sent the Amazon Gift Card for my broken item as soon as dropped it off at the UPS store, with the shipping label they paid for. I've already ordered and received my new item! It was completely my fault that the item broke, I dropped it and it stopped working, so I am grateful for their service as the manufacturer's warranty would not have covered this. Purchased this when buying a portable propane gas grill. When the product was defective the insurance did not recognize the product so was unable to make a claim.

I reported my problem and Asurion said they will reimburse me the amount I paid. I returned the damaged product and they made the gift card available right away!

    • . I didn't have to spend half as long in the interrogation room as they do on television.
They did finally cover the product, but not without a quick try at getting out of doing so first. Their automated site said, "it looks like your item is still covered under the manufacturer's original warranty, check with them first," so I did, and as I suspected, the manufacturer's warranty had expired almost a year ago. I had to get with a representative to make a claim. I've bought dozens of these warranties from them and 99.99999% were never used, I think this was my first claim, it's about $95.00 to $450.00 (their favor) and the warranty still had over a year on it, but apparently, they thought it was my hundredth claim and that the warranty only had hours left on it, I would advise buying a warranty from them, just be ready to gently push them in the direction of doing the right thing, because if you don't, they won't. ... show more
