I paid for the Asurion extended protection plan in good faith. When the item just stopped turning on in late December, I contacted Asurion and was told since it was still under manufacturer's warranty I should deal with them. I have made repeated contacts with Amazon since I have been unable to get a reply from the seller. Today they have refunded my purchase. Since the item has been cancelled and refunded, and Asurion refused any assistance, I feel this plan should also be cancelled and refunded. Also, while I was on hold with your phone service, I was just disconnected.

I’m so glad I bought this protection plan. The device we were protecting stopped working. I filled out a really quick and easy web form. I’m sooo glad I got extended warranty on my thermostat. I normally never get it but I’d read a lot of reviews that the Sensi models just stop working, so I did get it this time. I submitted the claim online on a Sunday and immediately got a pre-made shipping label via email. A friend shipped the dead unit (no cost to me) to Asurion via UPS on a Tuesday afternoon and I got an email with my refund for the thermostat the SAME DAY! Couldn’t have been easier or faster. Completely painless from start to finish. Depending on what you’re purchasing, check the warranty and if it’s not enough (e.g. only something like 90 days to 1 year), you definitely should consider getting the Asurion coverage.
